Great to see the hospitality of the two brothers. What will you do differently next time you need to cross a border? Are there clear instructions on line anywhere that tell you what lanes you need to use? Sorry you had to experience that, but its good knowledge for the rest of us. Thanks and continue having fun.
Juan and Antonio were soooo great! 😆 Honestly, we’re still trying to figure out where we went wrong. Unfortunately, we’ve crossed back into the US from Mexico twice this month and we’ve gotten lost both times- one at Tijuana and one at Mexicali. Naturally, it’s tough to be fully confident when all the signs are in a different language. And the gps cannot be fully trusted. The only thing we can think to do is do more research next time: Facebook groups, forums, RUclips videos. Or even ask people we’ve met about where and how they cross without getting lost. 😂 If you find any invaluable articles we will definitely send it over to you via this comment.
If you have an Instagram send us a message: @georgeandcris so we can tell you. Out of respect for the local people we’ve met we’d prefer giving out such specific information on a more personal basis. Thanks for watching! 😊
Glad you were able to get the truck fixed and made it safely to your destination! Have fun and enjoy!
Thank you, friend! 🥹🫶🏼

Stay safe
Thanks!
I think you guys should do this when or if you have children. I always thought about doing it in the future.
You had problems like that crossing the border when people are just walking through with no problems wow😮
Where were you camping in San Felipe?

@@georgeandcris oh, I thought it was a public campground business. No worries, I’ll figure it out. I don’t use Instagram.
Got it! If you look around San Felipe on iOverlander you will definitely find it. One of the few that offer dry camping directly on the beach sand. 😍
Mexicans are great mechanics
