SteelSeries Aerox 5 vs Roccat Kone XP Air mouse comparison - my two fave large ones

- In this video I'm comparing two of my favourite FAT mice (i.e. ones that are ideal for larger hands). The SteelSeries Aerox 5 and Roccat Kone XP Air. These are two great mice for their own reasons. If you want a large mouse with plenty of buttons then the Roccat Kone XP Air might well be the one for you, but if you want lightweight awesomeness then the Aerox 5 is it.

The SteelSeries Aerox 5 wireless is interesting for a number reasons and has great features that includes:
An ultra lightweight 74g design for speed and precision making it perfect for all Battle Royale, FPS, MOBA, and other fast-paced games.
Ergonomic 9-button programmable layout with 5 quick action side buttons, including our unique up/down flick switch for fast and efficient in-game actions.
AquaBarrier™ technology is IP54-rated to provide water resistance and protection from dust, dirt, and more.
Quantum 2.0 Wireless transmits data at unreal speeds, giving the flexibility of 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth 5.0, while also allowing for 180 hours of continuous play with fast charging.
TrueMove Air precision optical gaming sensor with true 1-to-1 tracking, 18,000 CPI, 400 IPS, 40G acceleration, and tilt tracking.
Next-gen Golden Micro IP54 Switches with over 80M click durability.
Highlights of the Aerox 5 Wireless for me includes:
A bigger and more comfortable design
More buttons gives more flexibility and programmability
A smooth experience with those PTFE feet
Lowlights:
Battery life isn't as good as the Aerox 3 was but it does have fast charging
That up/down flick switch is a weird one and not easy to use.

Still hoping for a G402 or G500 lightweight wireless. I cant stand the different button types on the G502 versions
i have the Aerox 5 I just bought but its alright. I like it alot but the Roccat additional buttons are making me want to return the Aerox and get the Roccat. I play Destiny 2 mainly and like to map all the abilities/macros to as many buttons on my mouse as a I can. What are your thoughts on which mouse is better?
Kone XP air. Any review complaining that they hit the bottom thumb button on accident... Means they are either lying or are clumsy and fat. It's solid. And if any say the left and right tilt buttons on the wheel make the mmb click on accident... Also a lie. This mouse is solid. Still miss my roccat NYTH, 8 years with it. But I have adapted nicely with this and I love it. I do wish it had a more... Lower and centered crouch button... Basically those"sniper" buttons.. That's where I would like my crouch. But after 8 years of that to two weeks of this..I can say that I've adapted. Love the mouse. Oh and m1 and m2 clicks can be a hair tighter... Just a hair... Doesn't change much. Still the best mouse since nyth.
6:48 Mice ASMR 😂❤
great video :)
Thanks Jansen
If they get the latency better on the Aerox 5 Ill buy one. its latency/input lag is just a little bit higher than my g502 lightspeed enough to be noticeable for me.
Steel series Aerox 5 amazing mouse I got 2 of them both after 3 months the side button broke . Don’t get it guys I bought now the logitech g pro I don’t have worry any more if my side button will fail me
I am currently using the Roccat mouse in this video and it is just fantastic for just about anything you want/need to do on your PC. Only flaw I can think of is SOME mice have an issue where the wheel mouse will just scroll slightly in the opposite direction you are currently scrolling. I experienced this once and luckily I ordered two mice and just swapped to the other one. No issues so far.
ideally I just want a lightweight g502.
The G502 X is lighter than the original ruclips.net/video/jM9D1vd0N7A/видео.html
@@TheProvokedPrawn yeah I saw that but hardly. U can buy a lightweight base from TJ Exclusives that drops standard lightspeed mouse by 22.5 grams.
the provoked erotic prawn reviews 😂
😂
As a gay man, I will admit, if you said the right things you'd definitely have some in fits ;)
Regarding the mice, My Aerox 5 mouse has an extremely weird issue where clicks don't register sometimes, RMA'd it 3x - they All did it.
oof, that's weird. I didn't have that issue. Could it have been a signal problem?
