    This is one of the best ways to spend the money. You & your family enjoy the trip and the money spent pump back into the economy. A win win situation. I would love to drive all over the Indian continent one day. I'm from America, and have traveled almost all the 50 states of the US and all eastern and western Canada as well.

      Thanks for your kind words. It is one of my dreams to rent an RV and drive around the vast and beautiful America. There are some very good organized road drives in India these days, which you want to consider.

    Please answer one question: you travelled almost 4500 kms, the question is, max how many kms you travelled in a single day and after how many kms you felt tiredness while driving verna ?

    • @ShuvaBrataDeb
      @ShuvaBrataDeb  6 лет назад

      naman Saxena 800 was max in one day from Vijaywada to Bhubaneswar. Not a good idea though. Verna is not tiring. Tiredness depends on many factors. I get more tired driving to airport at bangalore :-)

    • @bharathv499
      @bharathv499 6 лет назад +1

      @Naman Saxena.. Dude, the fluidic verna which he is driving in this video is super smooth.. fluidic verna is a really a Good car. Steering is lite and engine is super smooth, you feel like driving some high end cars like Benz. Same applies to old uber cool I gen i20... so there is no question of tiredness while driving these cars. Unfortunately Hyundai is not giving the same cars these days. You test drive new verna and Elite i20 you will feel the difference. New cars from Hyundai these days are stiff, hard steering and stiff suspension and not so smooth engine. I lost my faith in Hyundai these days.

    Excellent travelogue Shuv... throughout the video I was misconcepted that your Verna is a diesel. But to my whoch it's a VTVT petrol. How much mileage could you get in the overall trip. What was your maximum speed?

    • @ShuvaBrataDeb
      @ShuvaBrataDeb  6 лет назад

      Mileage is around 14 kmpl. Speed depends on road conditions. If road very good 100 plus feels good. In Orissa, even 80 plus feels like 100 plus of Hyderabad ORR.

    Since you chose road trip for such a long distance so I am guessing you have been in US (I could be wrong).Somehow i still think in India we are not yet ready for road trip with personal vehicle...Fuel is the primary concern which is million times higher than anywhere in the world...roads are also not good every where and safety on top of everything...still if you enjoyed the trip and kid liked it that's all matters...

      Jeetu Fares see video at time 14:27 for expense other than hotels. Hotel expense depends on where you stay.

    At the outset, absolutely it was a pleasure to watch. It was a lot different than similar road trip videos. Noticed that you are my kind of a person. Planning well for a trip with “what if option A doesn’t work”. Glad that you started this video with a glimpse into the planning phase, packing etc.; showing your daughter pack her suitcase was good; a message to children of the same age. It was a pleasant surprise to hear your daughter taking over the narration part right from the start. Another message right there to children of the same age. Other similar videos mostly has the gentleman getting into the narration part too. Very happy that you also included some sightseeing. Intent of your road trip was different, being a short vacation trip unlike others. Their intent was to temporarily shift the “work from home base” to their hometown for few months. Their aim was to reach the destination as fast as they can, so that they can start working. Your intent of the whole trip made watching your vlog with more interest. Well, continue to share more road trip vlogs. One happy family for sure. May god bless you all. Good luck! 👍

    I watched the video again. I must say that it is the best among the road travel videos I came across so far. Actually your commentary made the video so wonderful. And at the end, I saw the seat belt this time and withdrawing my earlier comment.

    Hey Shuv ! I'm driving from Delhi to Kolkata. Gonna stay there for 6 - 7 months with DL registered car, Will there be any problem with the kolkata cops.

      No idea. I am not familiar with the Wb rules. I live in karnataka.

      I see plenty of DL registered cars here on Kolkata roads. I guess you can just make a temporary permit and come to a settlement with Kolkata Traffic Guard, once you visit here.
