    Watching another WZ bench using 5800x3d I noticed the temps seem a bit high? The other guy hit 79c at one stage. I’m hitting 60c +/- in WZ 2. Havnt played WZ 3 yet so I’ll go see what temps I’m getting in there with my 5800x3d. I noticed the other guy wasn’t boosting to 4450-4500Mhz possibly thermal throttling.

      @keithhealy3931 frame gen would be great for 3rd person games that don't need precise movements, like rdr2. I have a s95b tv in my living room (different feature) but it has motion smoothing which provides a similar effect with 20ms of higher latency. It would very noticeably negatively impact an fps like cod. But it makes the 30fps rdr2 experience on xbox WAY better. Similar principle applies to frame gen. Higher frames = smoother image, but higher latency = chunkier and less precise inputs

      And actually in some of the other ones aswell the render scale wasnt correct it seems.

    • @GeraltPlus
      @GeraltPlus  7 месяцев назад

      Hi friend. Actually, when you turn on DLAA, you automatically disable the Render Scale option. DLAA is Native DLSS option, instead of being a Upscale option, it only applies the AA of DLSS, making the image looks better. DLAA can ONLY be used in Native resolution, when you turn it on, it automatically sets the resolution to native.

    • @yaistoo
      @yaistoo 7 месяцев назад

      @@GeraltPlus Tried swithing resolutions myself, still the res scale stayed at the 100% and in the intended res. Even when the DLAA was enabled ?

    • @GeraltPlus
      @GeraltPlus  7 месяцев назад

      @@yaistoo For example, if you set the resolution scale to 50% and turns the DLAA ON, it automatically disable the option to change the res scale and even though it appears "50%" it is running at res scale. You can make a comparison by setting the res scale to "50%", test it (you will notice everything get blurier) and just after that, turn the DLAA ON, you will see the image getting a lot better (because it is running at native res, but with the AA of DLSS).

    • @GeraltPlus

    • @GeraltPlus
      @GeraltPlus  7 месяцев назад +2

      Hi Tomek, just like FSR, DLSS is not meant to be used at 1080p, since it makes the game way blurier, it works really great at 1440p and 4K. Thanks a lot for your comment.
      Also, if you use the FidelityFX CAS at 100%, you won't gain any additional FPS like DLSS, since it won't be working as a upscaler, it will only sharpen the image, such as DLAA. Thanks a lot for your comment man.
