@@madseasonshow It happens XD When I started my like 3rd character was a dwarf and I actually thought it was Magni too, then I got into the lore and found out it was anvilmar which is the ancestor of magni, muradin and bran.

Holy crap, alpha Ironforge does really look like how i imagine it. Heavily reminiscent of Orzammar in Dragon Age.
Blizz needs to offer up an NPC spot with voiceover in game to MadSeason for being so awesome to the community!
Get the soft foam sword. It reduces any enemy to 1% or something like that in a single hit without killing them. Most toy vendors sell it.
Mike Bircher doesn’t work on dungeon/raid bosses though which is sometimes required for achievements such as the utgarde pinnacle one in the video

I quit wow for like a year ago.
Yet I watch these videos to enjoy "your" content as a character, not the game to be honest.
You are unique and entertaining in an astonishing way. Keep up the good work man, love you.
PS: don't stop using the "Oof" effect. I like it for some reason.

awesome vid bro, I think some ppl arent liking the ironforge thing, I personally love this sorta stuff but I suppose it is a different category of content and these days ppl seem to focus on one category per video a lot, so i'd recommend dat for da future

I remember as if it were today, the first time I saw World of Warcraft from a friend of mine. I couldn't take my eyes off all those people who could turn and go wherever they wanted and meet them again. Beautiful!!!

I just used the XA-1000 Surface Skimmer for the first time, it seems they fixed the bugs with it. I still need to see if it is usable while in combat. It is faster than the walker walking mount.
I don't even play WoW but I just love listening to these while working

at that door, used to be able to toggle run as you were spawning into the game, and you'd be on other side of the door into the old if area. there was a boss you could pull like that avoiding mobs, i think was swp. idk been awhile back lol. i recall an actual gm mssg me saying "you don't belong here" my reply was ey ima dwarf of course i belong down here. he instead of banning me for exploiting ported me out. i really miss the days when blizz had real ingame staff, and was run by actual gamers.
I loved the Old Ironforge exploration part!
Nothing will be as nostalgic as walking into iron forge 15 years ago.
actually, leveling the Unerlight Angler is about 3-4 times faster using the consumable pools. the river in valshara or the lake by the mage portal in highmountain are the best spots for multiple pools that respawn quickly..
if you only fish the ghostly queens, you only get 1x per cast. the consumed pools can get you 5 or more in a single cast with only a few seconds in between running to the next pool.
For low level quests that require damaging, but not killing mobs, I use trinkets like the Bolvar peasant caller. But that shrink toy should come in handy.

Also the fastest way to level it is to wait till the friend in suramar is up and get her rare fish then to cast them all at the fountain where they can't escape, in under half an hour you can have your pole maxed out.
I love that old layout of Iron Forge. I wish we would have gotten that instead. It looks more like a Dwarven city.
You can also get BfA-style leather Bardings that prevent dazing and/or dismounting while travelling across BfA zones. Saves having to go tank spec if you don't have one.
I tell ya now, one of the greatest (smartest) things I ever did in this game is get the UnderLight Angler. It is the single greatest thing in the game. Too bad one can't get it sooner than 110, but still worth its weight in gold, as they say!
About the WoW Token tip. Idk if its just in Europe but it changes into blizzard balance and the subscription cannot be paid with blizzard balance. So before you do it check if you can pay with it. It might be different in US.
Can confirm that Blizzard balance cannot be used to buy subscription time in Europe.
Hey MadSeason i am not quite sure wether you covered this in one of your previous videos, however if not here is a neat little tip that i use since i can remember: Whenever i have a class with a sprint or any other speed boost, i tend to jump 0.1 seconds before the sprint ends, so you keep the speed buff for a little longer (while mid-air that is). Its very minor but i thought i would tell you anyways. Cheers!
that new intro is CLEAN
Another trick for not getting dazed is the sandstone-dragon. If someone is riding on you, only they will be attacked and you wont get dazed. Situational but i use it all the time

I will always remember getting feared into old ironforge while on a for the horde run back in wrath. I already had it so i dropped group and explored instead and took so many screenshots.

Hey MadSeason! Was wondering if you would consider making a video about advice starting BFA from scratch? I am coming back to WoW since BC and the game have changed so much!
I have binged watched most of your videos, (all the Classic ones in particular), and am watching the rest 😁
While anticipating for the launch, I’d really like to play BFA, I already leveled to 16 on my priest and learning the ropes once again, with all the new in game stuff it can get quite overwhelming.
What kind of advice would you give to a BFA noob? If you have plans to make one such video that would most helpful. I will definitely check out your power leveling guide though. Thanks! Absolutely enjoy your videos! ✌🏻
So many tips these have high rewatchability
You should touch on the garrison profession buildings as tips. I get all my Lust drums for free from it. Can also get endless goblin gliders with the Engi building if you're not an Engineer. Better than wasting money buying them in AH. Think Alchemy building has some cool potions too.
The new intro is kinda cool.
Just a suggestion: Maybe try and highlight the "Madseason show" text so it catches the eye a bit more. Maybe a brighter colour, like the wow text.

The old IF tour, even though its been done by so many other people already, always makes me sad bc it reminds me of when IF used to be as big of a hub for people as SW was. Now its just as empty as everywhere else :/

The Pre-Release version of Ironforge is soooo much better than what we have know. The excuse that "people were getting lost" is so weak and stupid, because they could have easily fixed that issues, as they clearly did with the addition of the map...
I wouldn't have minded if the Alliance got Gnomeregan as an extra city, it'd just be yet another city for us to sack in the name of the mighty Hellscream!
I didn't had the chance to play on Vanilla due to its subs price on my country, but watching your videos makes me want to play Classic 24/7 when its released haha

At 12:50 you say the mount is "usable by *any* character in your account". Well that's not true, since Pandaren, as they are not Horde nor Alliance, can't use it until they choose their allegiance and relog. Just a little not-quite-known fact :D

one thing about the character boosting is that it should come with more perks. at least their race reputation maxed.
The Chopper also makes you immune to spells that would dismount you (even in tank spec).

I've run into some trouble with that one. It's mostly finished, but I'm confused about the old hidden tauren +range racial and how it affects the old hunter deadzone - need to do some more reading on that. It's also something that's iffy if it'll be in official classic as well, so I was thinking of waiting until we get a beta going for that for more testing anyways. I'll brainstorm it though!

Right, the issue with legendary weapons in Legion was that artifacts were more powerfull even with downscaling, just because of the procs. But now we don't have wep procs, so they are actually worthwile to use in TW
For the underlight angler now do you just need to have maxed out legion fishing? because I got it on two or three of my characters before they changed the professions but the rest of them are different now and I'm not sure

It is still possible to complete the quest chain and can be completed to this day.
But I have to admit, it takes a long time to complete the quest chain, even as a high level character.

not getting dazed as dps/healer: get AP trait "Resounding Protection" - like as prydaz u wount get dazed while the barrier is active
