Reflect: Thank you Chu Bro for your lovely introduction of Malaysia good food. Indeed Malaysia is a branded country without brand. Meaning that Malaysia is good (branded) but humble (no brand). Chu! The mee sua is a special type of noodle made from wheat. The wine is also special - made from red yeast rice.
Tomato mee is also a specialty in Sarawak, the tomato wat dan (egg) kueh tiaw version is also local to Sarawak. Must try!
There are many types of “mee” in Sarawak:
    Kampua
    Kolo
    Mee sua
Biang biang ngu (or ding bian hu)
Zao cai fen gan (soup) or Fen gan dan (dry with egg)
    Ikan bilis and manicai meehoon
    Fried Bai guo
    Don’t leave without trying! ❤

Mee Suah is a simple dish but we usually had it for birthday just like in Korea when you have the seaweed soup. It is usually paired with an egg. The tomato noodles also looks unique for me, but the beef noodle is making me hungry! Chu Bro, great video once again! Keep being happy and healthy! See you on your next video!

@@chubro The red color in the Mee Suah soup comes from the red rice wine used in the recipe. It is a popular Chinese Hokkien dish normally eaten as a birthday soup for blessing in a new year ahead. Also, eaten for removing all bad luck to start again fresh & new for a better tomorrow. If I am not mistaken, Koreans would eat a piece of tofu to end all bad luck in the hope of a better future.

Hello Chu. Happy Thursday. Great to try "mee sua", foochow beef noodles and tomato noodles before your departure back to Kuala Lumpur. Another SEDAAAAAAPP food adventure 👍👍👏 FYI, mee sua, or literally "long noodles" symbolizes longevity. The Chinese usually will serve a bowl of mee sua to the elderly on his/her birthday. Well, another entertaining video and thank you very much for sharing. Have a wonderful day. 🫰🙆🙆😍
