Chu! The mee sua is a special type of noodle made from wheat. The wine is also special - made from red yeast rice. Tomato mee is also a specialty in Sarawak, the tomato wat dan (egg) kueh tiaw version is also local to Sarawak. Must try! There are many types of “mee” in Sarawak: Kampua Kolo Mee sua Biang biang ngu (or ding bian hu) Zao cai fen gan (soup) or Fen gan dan (dry with egg) Ikan bilis and manicai meehoon Fried Bai guo Don’t leave without trying! ❤
Mee Suah is a simple dish but we usually had it for birthday just like in Korea when you have the seaweed soup. It is usually paired with an egg.
