Buchanan, conductor, with Adriana Zabala, mezzo-soprano, Keith Phares, baritone, and an MSU chamber orchestra. More details are at the end of the video in the program listing.
    This was the second half of the annual Beatrice Crawford Memorial Concert at the Alexander Kasser Theater, John J. Cali School of Music, Montclair State University. Before the feature presentation of Alzheimer's Stories, Emily Schladebeck, an alto voice student from the Class of 2019, related the story of her father's early onset Alzheimer's.

    What a powerful piece. I played marimba on this at National ACDA a few years ago. I could’ve lived in that sound forever.

    I have the pleasure of getting to sing this soon and listening to this full version, I don't know how I am going to keep myself together. Such a powerful piece of music.

    Very touching piece, nicely performed. Brought tears to my eyes.
