Xiaomi is a respected company with a significant market presence. However, when launching phones at high prices, it competes with brands like Samsung and Apple. While Xiaomi offers efficient features like a 67-watt charger and great screen quality, some users find its cameras lacking compared to competitors. For over five years, I've used Xiaomi devices under $400, but considering devices over $1000 may lead you to explore brands like Samsung's Flip series ( In this price category, the possibility of owning a Samsung such as the Flip 5 for approximately $700 in various regions, such as my country, for example, in Syria.) or upcoming models. It's essential to invest wisely in devices that hold their value over time.

I work as a samsung technician, please do yourself a favor and don’t buy flip or fold phones. They are trash, they will break, the screen will peel, hinge will stop working properly, you won’t be able to open up your phone all the way, the resale value is terrible, if you biy these phones for 1500-2000 dollars or euros whatever you won’t be able to sell it for more than 300-600 dollars a year later. If you get any little ding on your hinge from the outside you basically voided your warranty. Any sign of an impact is automatic warranty voided. Save yourself the trouble and get a normal phone.
Yeah the bumper in the corner of my flip 5 fell off and left a small hole in the bezel. Good bye to water resistance. Luckily I only bought it for around $400ish. In terms of the size of the battery 🔋, charging speed and size of the external screen (even if I strongly doubt the real usefulness), I agree with you, for everything else, no.
The no water resistance he said is bit tricky as it just might not have a certification because companies do that on their non flagship phones to cut cost, it still might be water resistant technically
It does seem like Xiaomi took and improved everything flip users are disappointed with Samsung but I have the strong feeling that Xiaomi's flip is gonna fall short at the basics becaue they focused so much on the advanced stuff like big battery and telephoto. The Zflip 6 does have an ultra wide camera
That the Motorola razer + 2024 model
@@Cad7TB yeah I was wrong. The Samsung website says it has 2x optical zoom camera so it got me confused.
The 2X optical zoom is pretty good, but it will lose to the Mix Flip as you zoom >2X.
Not having a IP rating does not mean that the phone does not have protection, it only means that they have not payed the money for the certification
Someone likes to play russian roulette.
Also means thst when something happens, there is no cover for a user.
"We didn't say it's officially tested, therefore we can't repair under warranty."
@@theshockbro Neither with a certified ip samsung. They will find an esquisse as they always did
@@danniel7480 X simply means not tested.
U complain for dust in your flip 6, they say it's X rated, bye-bye.
@@theshockbro You know that IP ratings do not mean you are covered for warranty claims? So if your Flip6 gets water damaged, then your phone will be dead, and there will be no free replacement. Also, IP ratings have a short half-life and if you drop them that could affect their water resistance. My advice is to keep electronic stuff away from water and hope you don't have a water accident.
It’s IP rating is IPX4 and X8, not IP48
COULD BE a Galaxy z flip 6 killer ???
dude have you seen the front screen of this phone ?
Saamsung is the only company failing so very bad.
day one purchase. Using n2 Flip since release and I really like the form factor. Hopefully it will be released in my country officially, since if I cant imported it myself. ( wish I could, fked up govt officials)
First Razr 50 Ultra, now Mix Flip, who tf would want to have telephoto over ultrawide???
I believe some people because I do use the telephoto more than the wide
@@mickymousejuju yeah, I use it more too, but that's because I have all 3, if I didn't have telephoto I would just crop, meanwhile I can't do this with UW
@@mateuszptaszynski5377 yeah it depends on the person and preference but wide is very useful
Why wireless charge when you have 67W wired.
I use OnePlus 12 which supports 50W wireless. I've never touched that as i can charge wired at 100W
Samething different name
Z Flip 6 KILLER? This phone will cost almost as Z Flip 6, What do you think, will people choose the well-known SAMSUNG brand or the Chinese brand in the same price range?
same specs 12+256 samsung cost 7999 xiaomi 5999
@@efei33 5999 will be in Chine 7499 will be for the rest of the world
why does the on screen text say ipx48, little details matter too, even if u have 3m subs and 23k views
Release global?
Yes
maybe?
Does xiaomi have enough protection technology? I wonder how strong it is from water or dust
It is the same as the Galaxy Flip4.
well they increase the battery size but remove wireless charging
Because they did research and their users preferred a larger battery to wireless charging; they could not have both.
all is good except their hyperOs
