Taylor is so good at telling a story through every song and it's like she spins this entire scenario and it's like you're right there in the moment living that! She is a genius artist!

Nooo not songwriter of the century. That's too much. Alanis Morissette always blows me off my feet with her songwriting. The way she weaves words together is to me very sophiaticated. Even Taylor appreciates her songwriting skills. And I bet there are loads of songwriters out there who are better. But Taylor is kinda better than her peer celeb songwriters like.. umm... Yah, than Grande for instance.

Also her documentary coming out in January goes completely behind the scenes of the entire Lover album. There was also voice notes of her creating blank space, I know places and I wish you would on 1989

God, I got goosebumps hearing her voice memo on the night she was inspired to write Lover. It's not the best track in her album, but it's just so enchanting to hear how she realizes an idea of a song.
when jack was explaining the transition from the bridge to the chorus then the chorus played gave me straight CHILLS!

Taylor is such an incredible songwriter and she's so versatile too. Some of her songs describe such an abstract feeling or emotion in such a detailed and nuanced way. And then some of her songs simply tell a story with that same detail and nuance that put you right in the place of the narrator or takes you back to a similar situation you experienced or are currently experiencing yourself. Taylor is only 3 years older than I am and I am so proud to be of her generation and so thankful I've had her for every stage of my life since I was 13 or 14 years old. She really is the voice of an entire generation, she is the soundtrack of our lives. I find myself so excited for every single album and I cant wait to see what she has to say next as we enter into each new phase of our lives. She is genuinely so special, so many people have talent but Taylor is truly a once in a generation writer and in all honesty...shes a once in an entire lifetime talent. I don't expect to ever see another singer-songwriter like her and that's totally okay because it's just a privilege to be alive to experience her and it's an even bigger honor to be close enough in age to have Taylor put into words and songs things that I'm feeling and experiencing in the same time frame that she is. I'm a very proud person, I don't typically idolize celebrities because we are all human at the end of the day...but Taylor is just different. As a person and as a talent, she is as admirable and praiseworthy as any human could be.

This is one of my favourite songs by her. Probably my number one favourite. The lyrics she emphasizes on "can I go where you go" - her talking about that that's so cool because I love those lyrics myself and feel the same way when I listen to it so it's cool like that's how and why she wrote it too (I can't really explain it lol)
