When you posted your box-opening reel the other day, I was hoping you'd do a "review" of the camera and, here it is :D . I've been using the original DJI Osmo Action for a couple of years and love it. I've been jonesing for the version 4 ever since I saw it announced about 6 months or so ago. Want one even more now having seen your video. Hope to have one before I go on any summer adventures this year. Nice job with this video. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks, it’s taking me a bit to figure this thing out. It’s way different from my Canon M50 ! But I will get it. Peace ✌️

I'm digging the new setup! Color looks good, stabilization is solid; you're going to have a lot of fun with that. Hooking up an external mic is a great idea, that is the biggest issue I have with my Hero10.

That is a nice looking setup with the Osmo Action 4 Adventure Combo. A cage with your rode mic should be a perfect setup. I'm using A Canon SL2 now for the past few years. I actually bought it from watching you talk about yours. I also sometimes use my old GoPro 3+ but the sound is pretty terrible and there is no screen to see what you are capturing. It is still good for my scuba diving videos. I'm seriously thinking about getting the same combo you have shown here. I don't like to take my SL2 in the kayak with me so the Osmo would be much better and it is also much smaller and lighter compared to my SL2. I look forward to seeing more from you new camera....Take care, Bluefin.

Yes sir ! I had the SL2 for a few years, then I dunked it in a lake in Maine ! Great camera. Now I use the M50 mirror less. But looking forward to also using the DJI !

I have the same one. I love it. Let me know if you need any tips. I picked up the SmallRig cage and ended up returning it. It didn't snap on to the quick mount securely and they're heavy. So I use the one that it comes with and if I need a cold shoe for a mic, I'll use the Ulanzi MT-16 tripod. With a 30W battery bank it charges really fast so I just bring that and 1 extra DJI battery. I wish I had that 3 battery pack though.

Thank you ! That’s great information man ! Sad to hear the small rig doesn’t work well. Hmmmm

@@MeetMeOutside The built in mic works great though. I pair the Action 4 mostly with a tiny Ulanzi MT09 tripod. It fits nice in the mesh shoulder pocket of my backpack. Then use the Ulanzi necklace mount for POV shots. I bring a Fulaim X5 wireless lav sometimes. Cheaper than the DJI and Rode mics and works well.

Maybe a dead cat for the mic

Yes indeed. On this little test, I was just using the stock mic. Plan on using my Rode video mic . Have a lot of “ playing “ around to do ! Thanks Will !
