Pointing Up A Foundation

In this clip I use Mortar to "Point Up" the base of the foundation.

@@horstcarpentry I completely understand and use normal mortar mix as well. With Rapid Set you can add set control which gives you a longer working time. Have a great day sir.

Do you think a tuck pointer would have given a cleaner finish?

For sure it would've made for a cleaner finish. My objective was to fill in the void while allowing it to shed water.

Is this your house? Looks very historic from the block work

It is a commercial building built in the 1950's. It was designed to match the Church which was built around the 1920's. Roughly a hundred years old now. Thanks for watching
