I love these video's but they never cease to surprise me as to how fantastically bad some drivers can be. I seems to me that the main problems with Russian drivers is they appear to have problems with spacial awareness and drive way to fast for the conditions.

There is a very special kind of Russian crash you hardly see anywhere else in dashcam videos: Speeding past slow or waiting cars into crossings. A recipe for disaster. A very special breed of idiots seems to live somewhere in Russia and sport that on a regular basis.

If only it were that simple... In fact, it is necessary to pass training in a driving school, which lasts 3 months and costs 25,000 rubles (the average monthly salary), then pass exams in a driving school, then pass exams in the traffic police. You need to learn 800 tickets, the exam will have 20 questions where you can make 2 mistakes, but for each mistake you will add 5 more questions where you can't make mistakes. Then the exam is taken at the automobile training ground, which consists of 7 exercises. And after that, the exam is taken in the city in a real environment (this is the most difficult and unpredictable). Now police officers take bribes very rarely, so it is very difficult to buy a driver's license
Especially for those who write something about Russia. If you install video cameras in all cars in your country and provide people with inexpensive fast Internet as in Russia (unlimited Internet 100 MB/s at a price of$ 7-10 per month), you will see a lot of similar videos from your country.

It seems that in Russia they have painted crosswalks that do not have an associated traffic light signal . It is a recipe for disaster as many times we see people acting like they are going to cross at any time prompting the first car to slam on the brakes. Apparently, drivers get used to driving by without stopping until they see someone trying to cross. I can only guess drivers are so fearful of the penalty that they rather stop even if abruptly and risk getting hit from behind by the learned habit of not stopping most of the time.
