Great video again! I really enjoy the car interviews...you ask the owners great questions! Can't believe you guys were sitting in the black car for an interview in 105 deg heat!!
VW Life Im working on a 1972 vw bus, and it has the 1700 type 4 in it. was in the midst of doing a engine overhaul and ran short on funds. so im scared to split the case. heads exploded on the engine. and piston were all beat up. but no holes in pistons. i have new pistons and cylinders, as well as another set of heads. do you think it I should somehow muster up funds for bearings, or would i be alright with just reassembling the outside of case/ not splitting it and throwing on all the cylinders heads and what not?
Wow 103F today in Iowa it was a cold 52F I needed a warm sweatshirt on while drinking my coffee on the front porch..For me beside the vw's what so cool is your interviews you do a great job always love hearing the vw stories.
Bunch-o-nice cars .My 66 bug from Memphis was" Mabel" .Out of all of the cars I've owned she was the most fun .Maybe I should start looking for another .
Black also costs the most to paint, because every body work flaw shows through. Usually, to do black, it costs twice as much from a body and paint shop.

That is an awesome story! Thank you for sharing. I'm sure your friend was both a little crazy and very brave to be driving a Baja in Vermont in the winter. I agree with you we need to incorporate some of those very unique accessories. We will definitely be on the look out and try to include those on every interview thank you so much for your suggestion! And tell your friend about her Channel I hope he's watching if he isn't already we need to get him subscribed
Yes we totally understand it's still early September and we're at a hundred and two degrees today here in Texas but what we meant by end of summer was more of the school year thanks for watching!

Yep cool little detail!
Can't wait to find me a bus!!!
Keep looking they are out there!
Love that paint job! And the door cards!
You're the best!
Some nice original touches on this car. The speed holes, Halibrand rims and and stance give a reel Bonneville hot rod look to this bug.
Right on
Ya, that one guy is classic. Nice t-shirt. Thanks for the vid. 👍.
Yeah Mike is a character No Doubt
I used to have one of those Hurst shifters in my 1970 beetle.
They are pretty cool,

Loving The Flying Pig. Never seen a bug in matt black with gloss black two tone sides.. Looks great!
Yep an awesome look no doubt!
Love the exhaust. Were can you find that

I love Scot's bug, some of the features may inspire some details on mine before it's finished 👍
Do it!
I need to come out sometime. I’ll tow mine from Houston one day
Yeah or come out to 3rd Saturday at top-notch. There is a Facebook page for it.
Bummed to miss the last first Wednesday of summer. Are there any other get togethers in lieu of? Will be at Harvest for sure.
It's every first Wednesday. So don't worry there's always next month
I can’t wait to be the for the Harvest and hopefully next year bring my 55 single cab to either In n Out or Top Notch.
A 55? What? Do it. Would love to see it
I thought he said the last First Wednesday ever..... You almost got me Gary!
Yep it's over! Lol
Great Video and nice Beetle

What’s the “Matt Jackson” count?
if you find out let us know :)
No! Wait! I have just read though some of the comments. Are you really calling him Matt Jackson? 😂😂😂😂😂 All this time I thought you were saying MAD Jackson!!! Mad Jackson is a much cooler handle! 😂😂😂
Terry you are the second person to say that. I guess we need to explain it but yes it's Matt! Thanks for watching sorry about the confusion
BUT,,,,,, MAD Jackson is WAY COOLER!!
Really I’m still crying laughing it that!!
@@terryfleming7084 that's what I'm thinking! Think I need to change it
Owning a black vw bug reminds of the darkest days of Germany.
Ah okay cool!
View #1,099 at 6:40 PM on 9/5/19 - NJ....Summer almost gone
Indeed John thanks
👍👍👍👍👍
thanks!
I can’t hear him say “Matt Jackson” one more time.
We will cut out some of them
What's with the "Matt Jackson?" Can't he simply be referred to as Matt?
Nope! Impossible
No we don't know !!!!!!!!!!
Lol
love bugs I git a vw trike
Ah okay cool Bob!
Smith kits on Facebook
The repeated "Matt Jackson" was so annoying I can't finish what would otherwise be a cool video.
Sorry big dog I hope you can check out some of our other 99 videos or so where there are less Matt Jacksons
@@VWLifeVW will do.
This one guy keeps saying this other guys name is getting old
Is it? We might tone it down
You guys have to stop with the Matt Jackson..
yes we don't have so many of them in our new videos.
@@VWLifeVW not saying I don't enjoy your videos because I do. I miss the build parties of my club and your videos help.
