I think the reason why experimentation's facility has a interior modeled is that's where you'd probably find the cut elevator feature and decend further down into the randomly generated rooms within
Funny, and very interesting. Me and my mates found this weird tank under the company building, went out of of way to collect those apparatus and realized this was useless, for now. There is also a 3rd slot on the left of the 2 apparatus slots and we couldn't figure out which item goes on this spot ( some sort of double square connection ). My headcannon is that some earlier team tried to setup a heist into the building in order to make more profit but got obviously killed by whoever is in charge of this place. Or the project never got to completion beause the team is dead on a mission and we might take it up later in some sort of story mode. Either way, looking forward to it
This game, for no reason, IS AWESOME! I find myself wanting to jump back on over and over every day and to be perfectly fair, I'm unsure of why. I can't wait to see what the Dev does with future ideas and can imagine some AWESOME additions to the game to make it even more addicting. Hopefully starting with more options in settings menu lol. I want to REMAP! Thank you so much for the video, great work.
Theory - Starting from the easy and medium difficulty moons, the Company have recently (maybe last hundred years) scavenged these, well-prepared and perhaps exterminating the more dangerous lifeforms (thus why certain mobs have much lower to null spawn rates). The hard moons, Rend and Dine, with their starkly different interiors, could've been where the heads of the Company or whatever groups were in charge of starting the Company and exploiting these moons, inhabited. Titan was the first step onto building the Company up. Rewind time a bit - An elite, wealthy group simulate life back on Earth, thus the massive screens with still life and cozy interior. Titan is their first fully-functional resource plant, turning massive profits for them. After some time, they begin expanding - March and Offense are up next. The Company continues to expand further and settles on Assurance, Experimentation and Vow. The heads of the Company need to relocate, as Titan has now become depleted of resources and can no longer sustain their nearby housing on Rend and Dine. They choose to settle on Gordian, rumored to consist of riches beyond imagination beneath the waves. Who knows how much time has passed between these events until we start working for the Company, but what is certain is that Titan, Rend and Dine have all been lost to time and fell into disrepair. Nature has returned in full and fearsome force as the Company had no reason to cull their numbers (thus the higher spawn rates). These moons are now ripe for scavenging. As for why the Company would swap from natural resources to scavenged materials, who's to say. Mayhap the beast beyond the walls on Gordian can only be satiated by these materials. The Company has found another way to profit from their past and exploit these moons even further, beyond natural means.
The moon where the company building resides contain enourmous natural resource which the company need, but it also contain an enormous monster as well. The monster feeds on metal and the company need it to calm it down. Thats why the monster did not attack us when we're selling item except if we annoy the monster and make it angry
This is just what I wanted to see. I looove when people go around and show how the game is made and behind the scene stuff, I just wish you stayed around the places more bc I'm really into it 😭
If you want to see and know more about how games look taking it behind the scenes you should watch Shesez a whole channel dedicated to boundary breaking games, all different kina games down from Wii games all the way to PC games.
This is a potential explanation as to why the drill is there on the company planet. In one of the game's logs, Sigurd talks about hearing someone on the other side of the wall talking about a "golden planet," and that they were eaten by the tentacle monster, along with the whole golden planet. So the tentacles belong to some sort of world-destroying creature, and Sigurd (or someone else) set up the drill to potentially save the person. Just a theory. EDIT: If you go back to the drill, a dangling switch has been added. Presumabley to activate the drill, but I have no idea.
really cool. i love the game so finding the drill left me pretty optimistic as i do like my games to actually have endings even if lc is fun to just play. hope you keep making vids
It is supposed to be a randomly generated game. The ending might just be something from Minecraft where it is just the end goal of that round but other wise the game wont end. I like this idea because a end goal is always fun.
Would be cool to see more/talk about the background city/skybox of the maps. Whether it's a placeholder or can lend itself to the lore leaves it interesting. Especially when wondering outside of Titans snow to see a distant yet familiar structures.
The reason why experimentation has a modeled interior is because in one of the earliest alphas of the game, the facility was fully modeled out. I actually found a video of this in the video "We Played the OLDEST Versions of Lethal Company" by chubbunlimited. Nice video, though!
You made it into the game! 9:08 here you are talking about the drill, if you take a radio and go to the company wall you can hear this part of the video over the radio?!?! We accidentally found this out then I found this video, Crazy
Btw u can actually get in that old facility on experimentation ive been there twice. What u need to do is get 2 extension ladders and go fire exit. Then u go all the way down till u reach the fence and look at the walls till u spot a doorway. U place a ladder a bit to the left of it and climb ti the ledge and get on it. After place a ladder under the doorway at an angle climb and ur in. Ur welcome.
Is this noclip a mod? I'm trying to gather data on certain enemy behaviour outside of hunts, as well as spawn behaviour (like do enemys spawn randomly in, or are they always present because i had coilheads spawn behind me while i was in a locked room). As well as finally putting an end to the myth that removing the apparatus spawns more enemies. Do you have any sort of source for this noclip mod? Totally understandably if it's not available for the public though, so no worries.
If unable to help, i may suggest you to research the monster behaviour for me. Do they spawn randomly in after time? Are they always present? Are more coming? Does the apparatus really change anything? I'd definitely watch a video about this.
Hi, I made the mod by editing the binaries directly so I am unsure about the legality of distributing it at the moment. I was planning on doing a second video investigating the monsters so I will aim to cover all of their behaviour and spawning logic in that!@@Blubbpaule
Any idea what those purple barriers are surrounding the ship and exits (not the boundary ones, the ones at points the players have to pass through)? are those things that trigger monster spawns and are the reasons for why my second scrap trips are generally much more dangerous than the first?
I started playing lethal company just today and on my first visit on gordion 71 I found out that when you start the ship and head outside to the back of the ship and look in the direction of the ocean you can see a massive building to the left and some other structures that looks like a city
One thing that you forgot is the background where in some maps there are cranes in the background, idk why they are there just aesthetic I assume but maybe a hit of a new moon
You can see the crane most visibly from Titan since the entrance is high above the fog. The crane is actually on all maps as they use the same sky box, an image of what appears to be a road bridge over a motorway. I'm not sure if it is a stock photo or a photo that the developer took, but it is quite funny to see a very normal scene in the background.
If you go outside the map of Arid and keep walking on and on, the way from which you came looks like a pixelated image of a neighborhood/city which is weird
Do you have the mod name for the mod that was used? If you cant give out the name for the mod used for noclipping and viewing geometry and collision thats fine
Dude seeing all the red water gave me an idea. What if we had a Iron Lung cross over where we got to explore some of the blood moons from iron lung. Perhaps add some lore and throw in some above ground structures or maybe doors to underwater (or underblood?) bases full of new blood creatures?
So remember when I said about this comment that it had "SCP all over again"? Yeah, I guess the dev of Lethal Company decided to put that SCP mask in the game

Ah that's probably right. Wouldn't it be cool if there was an alternate mode where you descend a tower like the early builds showed.
First time i watched the game i always thought it was like that, i mean the orange suit and the gasmask said it all
Zeekers probably tried modeling it and just didnt
That's is right, in the zeekers montage appears that zone

I do agree with the vow power plant idea, as chemical jugs (scrap) are BY FAR the most common on vow

Titan can actually have either layout from the first hard map or the easy medium map layout. Had that happen once But only once
next to the drill is a switch dangling from the ceiling which you can use to turn on lights
I found it right after releasing the video 😔
My cousin said that he thinks the company built those buildings, and made some huge mistakes, then we have to go there and get the remainings
