He was great in his time, and for all time. Tastes change, fads change, but the one thing that is a constant is Talent. His Talent stands the test of time. Forget the grainy B&W footage and outdated clothes, just Listen to what the guy is putting down. This guy could do it ALL. Sing, play, write, produce, entertain and act. RIP Walden Robert Cassotto and thank you for leaving us your great musical catalog to be enjoyed for as long as we live.
I found Bobby for the first time 4 years ago & fell in love with his voice, and his personality instantly. This just proves even after so many years without him, he is reaching out to people, he is touching hearts and healing them. Thank you for making my life a better place. Much love to you. 🧡
Wonderful Tribute, I was only 5 when his career was taking off. I remember every song. What a class act. Definition of cool....💙 Rest in Eternal Peace, with your lovely wife Sandra ☮💜✝️💞
Thank you for uploading this. I recall this was on Dick's short lived evening show in 1978. I remember wanting so much to see this tribute after seeing it listed in the TV guide but I had to work that night. No VCR, so I never got to see it. So thank you for sharing it.
I hardly recognized him at 2:43 without his hairpiece. People said he was brash, but it was just a cover-up, the guy was just trying to make the most out of what he knew would be a short life. What a great talent he was, he could do anything, write, compose, play several instruments, and dance a few steps. Dynamic performer who gave us a thrill and touched our hearts with his songs and his life. I wonder where he would have gone if he hadn't died at age 37, he did it all as it was. RIP, Bobby!
he didn't or got tired of the toupee "teenie" bopper music he wanted to grow into the music he really wanted to sing and play he changed alot when robert kennedy was killed , he does an interview with mike douglas explains his changes and what the death of kennedy did to him ....there is a tribute video complilation of his come back specials really good stuff ....
One of the greatest singers and performers of all time.

Classy and talented man. No need to have his shirt unbuttoned so far to show his navel as many do these days . . .
Why Bobby Darin, of all the entertainers in the world, why him? Why did he have to die so young?
Good Question 🙋!My My!
