your approach to minimalism is inspiring to say the least. i’m not one myself but this makes it seem much more intriguing and attainable than some others that i have seen on youtube.

Im only 16 year old so i feel like my view on minimalist and style will change significant as i grow but at least im in the process. 🇲🇾
I like the closet. Wood tones go well with plants. You could approach it from a mindfulness perspective, accept the wardrobe for what it is and not let it bother you anymore. Or actively observe it as it ages over time, as another form of mindfulness.
It's a very fashionable room! I want to imitate too! !! I love fashionable items. I wanted to refer to it. I will come to play again! With love from Japan :)
Your room is super cool! I’ve always really liked your windows. I like the wardrobe, too! Don’t change it. Think of it as wabi-sabi! It’s so interesting seeing homes in other parts of the world, seeing how and where different people live. Did your big filming light survive the crash? 😬 And your iconic plant? 🌱 Hope so!!
Terrible Fengshui your bed should not face the door!! Notice how a few of his things broke while making this video?! Too much black color brings in bad luck too! Constructive criticism by me don't be too bothered by this comment ok (just my opinion)
Hello, don't change you. Keep sleeping the way you are used to sleeping. Also I have some suggestions:1: you can paint the closet white, gray, or some other masculine color for a change and change out the hardware handles on it too, 2:the tripod pole that's taking up space on the floor, you can find online, in stores something that you can mount inside of your closet or walls to hang it on, and finally, you can put up more shelves on the wall for your plants and get them off of the floor. God Bless from the USA

I relate so much with your videos. Not only with concepts and thoughts but also because of aesthetics. Let me explain: I live on Brazil (in a hot and semiarid part of it, to be more specific) and I never could relate with the space's aesthetics of north-american or european content creators because... I don't wear sweaters or have problems related to cold weather, for example. There's not a pine forest nearby, furniture style is different, people usually wear shorts and flipflops or walk barefoot when in home - summing up: almost everything looks a little different. My room is bigger than yours but looks smaller because I don't have huge windows like yours. Natural light and white walls really make the room looks so airy.
Hi CK, you could uplift the look of your built in wardrobe with new custom wardrobe doors or find something from IKEA that fits, or get it repainted! The worn look of the desk looks good
I love your dry humour haha! 😬Also, I didn’t know that it’s soo humid in Singapore that you need to store your camera equipment in a separate storage 😵
Love your videos! Side note: I don't think your should remove your wardrobe. I think you should ask for permission to paint it, white or black to match the rest of your decor. You'd be surprised how it would change the whole look of your space, you might enjoy using the wardrobe more then and there will be no need to figure out how to remove it :D
Our house has a lot of furniture that we got from the side of the road or for free via online. Lots of wear marks, some paint splatters, chips, dents.. it's generally all really old but durably made furniture, I like it a lot; free doesn't matter so much, it is more about taking items out of the waste stream and giving them an extended useful life, rather than chucking something just cos it looks a bit worn out aesthetically. Makes me appreciate it a lot more.
HAHAHAHAHA! I love the artwork! I'm amazed by what you keep too, still very minimalist, very raw and Singaporean. Having a bed frame makes vacuuming easier, I think having a small room means you got to be a minimalist in order to live in peace (w/o clutter and shifting furniture or things around)!
Thanks for sharing your room!! I am glad as a minimalist you still showed the messy part of your room😂 Because I think it's is normal to have some messy stuff even though calling myself a minimalist. Thanks for the support Ajay! I've been waiting for the right time to do this video but i just didn't know when. I guess there's no right time for it! 😅
Thanks. A lot of people live in one room. It is small and you can get tired of it but hopefully you will endure. I live in a motorhome and my total living space is 190 square feet. I tried to calculate that into meters but my app was not working. Anyway, it was crammed a few years ago and it was a tight space. After decluttering I have more room. I didn't like the fake wood paneling so I painted it all white. That has made such a big difference. You might want to paint the cabinet. A nice neutral can give a feeling of calm even though the big thing is still there. At least it will help to hide all the things.
Hi Buddy, I bought recently an K&F tripod which can do regular talking head but also overhead shots. Got it via amazon and it is really small. So maybe you would consider that instead of the monstrosity you using at the moment. Thanks as well for sharing, I like to see how you developed, it’s everytime good advice and very pleasant to watch. Keep up the good work, cheers from Germany 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I totally agree, Denisse. I'm more of a "frugal and happily mismatched" extreme-ish minimalist also.
