Thank you so much for this! I was real sore when I learned that Mosfilm took down the video from before. That video had English subtitles too! They're such a bunch of t*ats!
You're welcome! My heart literally sank when I realized the video wasn't available anymore on YT. I remembered it by thumbnail, and tried making mine as similar to the original poster's. I even had the idea of transcribing the other versions of the harvest song's subtitles, but that's assuming the vocals are all the same. And it's waaaay too much work for me lmao.
Thanks! Our capitalist offices apparently decided that the legacy of Soviet cinema was their private property, so they began to remove everything from public access. But one way or another - good, positive, life-inspiring songs remain with people! Let the one who reads this be glad, happy and satisfied with life (Of course, if he is a man of Labour, and not a bandit, a ranier, a capitalist or other scam).
The Capitalist entity who privatized state-owned films does contravene Lenin's doctrine, in which the copyright is the bourgeoisie's main weapon to suppress learners and aspiring artist to this wonderful piece of art.

In this fragment of movie we can see how was look demography in many places of ussr after ww2: there is 2-3 times (or even more) young females than young males because of huge losses among young males during ww2 (especialy as a soldiers, but not only)
Crazy to think that even after losing 30 million people, majority young men, they still managed to industrialize to a point where USA was worried about them. A country that was the greatest beneficiary of both WW1 and WW2, basically taking over the World's economy. When people tend to criticize Soviet Union for a degree of brutality, they tend to forget what they were dealing with. For them, it was a matter of survival.
I like how they run the film at least 33% faster than the actural recorded speed to show how the modern Soviet agricultural workers should work to harvest a record amount of grain.
Wow i didnt notice! What a good sight. As long as i know this is a musical scene from a movie so maybe its a resource to fit the rithm into the scene and not a propaganda skill.
Unfortunately, I have no idea about this program's specifics. There are other versions of the harvest song here on RUclips, but without the cinematics.
Song is from the movie “Kuban Cossacks” made in the late 1940s. Here’s a version of the song sung by an East German military choir at 6:14 in this video ruclips.net/video/9SkezB_hjtE/видео.htmlsi=ZDdNTcdhuDKDWAQr

I didn't notice this comment for a while, but I just want to say thank you for providing this info!

Russia still has some state-owned farms.
@@Waldemarvonanhalt yeah but it's run by kulaks and they aren't collectivized
@Nester42069 What's the income level or number of possessions needed to be a kulak?

The harvest. That was fun.
I wish im that eager to become a homesteader
Good times, now we live in the decadence
Ну че группа поддержки царя батюшки, могло такое искусство быть в империи? Скорее всего они даже читать не умели
Somebody lyrics please
