Glad to see bad north back, a true gem of an indie game

Here are some tips:
Commanders can’t die if there is at least 1 troop left
Crossbowmen can’t destroy buildings, so you are safe to hide all your troops in or behind buildings
Put ring of command and popular perks onto archers
Sure footed (or whatever it’s called) is good for pikes bc they can stand on the shore and get no kb from the boats

The increased knockback perk is also good for archers so they knock the enemies off the boats

Best sure footed is for infantry against brute archers

Archers are KING! if you can snipe as many enemies off of the boats as possible, then you'll be doing yourself a massive favor.

If going face big archer guys I recommend getting fully upgraded knights as they are absolute tanks as I seen them get hitting by multiple big archers shots only get back up unless they were knock into water.

Spearman are the counter for big boys I don't know how to counter the bolista

Sword men with shield counter them as they are the only unit not be able get one shot due their shields but they do have a lot knock back to ballistic arrow with can send units out into water if not careful.

Here some powerful combo of skills and unit:
Swordmen with reduce damage now they are more of a tank
Pikemen with increase knockback now it alot harder for units get close
Archers with sharp weapon now they guaranteed kill weak units and can easily kill big ones
Also Swordmen jump attack can be trigger as long they are standing on higher ground than enemies and can knockdown and kill enemies which make powerful against larger groups.

pikeman doesnt really need knockback, they already good keeping enemy at bay, not even big guy can come close
swordman is a really good tank except to big guy, dont face big guys using swordman
Archer most of the time is their accuracy, sharp weapon sure great vs big enemies, but i prefer the increase troops for more consistent hit

The archers with heavy weapons are better cuz you won't have to worry about shields for most of the game and the volley would just destroy

The last island was really close! There were numerous times where the squad was done to the commander.

Blitz, never, ever, charge Brutes with infantry. Unless you absolutely have to. A group of lvl 1 pikemen can easily stop a squad of brutes on their own, saving you the dead soldiers and ultimately replenish time. As for Brute archers, you'll want to hide all groups behind buildings until they hit the island and then rush them with infantry. Attacking huscarls with pikemen is also a bad idea, the throwing axes are really strong against anything that doesn't have a shield. Draw the axes with infantry and lead the huscarl group into your pikemen to finish them off.

Tip for dealing with dual swords guys: archers are your best defence against them, as their ability is like a the plummet ability but from the ground.

Fun fact: If you use archers to knock every single enemy on an island into the water before they reach the island, the island on the map when you're done will have absolutely no blood on it because nothing died on the island.

I must say, the really big enemies with swords are much weaker than you think, four of those guys can't get anywhere close to pikemen before dying

Hey here is a tip. If you see heavy weapons turn it into an archer because it will be your best unit
