- Myself and the drone master Neil from NJ Tech channel meet up again for probably the most epic night flying sessions yet with our DJI Avata 2's, so how does the new camera on the DJI Avata 2 cope with low light and could we rip the woods at dusk and some freestyle chase at nearly darkness?! lets find out!

really cool, the open field reminded me of star wars like 2 tie fighters flying around. for the night flights would be cool to see a light attached like a rovyvon a8 or nitecore tiki etc

lol but with light infra red for some people on terrain with night vision. the drone trace the ray off light for people recon ^^
You guys are really good FPV pilots. The Avata 2 is my first FPV drone. Bought the FPV controller 3 as well as the motion controller, but just learning how to use the FPV controller.
I fly through the woods in back of the house which goes over a couple mountains, but I'm going about 5 mph - lol. I fly every day weather permitting.

@@andykirbyTried the FPV controller yesterday, but it was far too windy. The drone was flying at a 45 degree angle.
I subscribed to your channel yesterday and that’s saying a lot, because I only have 3 or 4 subscriptions. Don’t care for the people that ask for you to subscribe especially right up front. Really enjoyed watching your videos. They are beautiful, exciting and funny at times.

Quality.. only had a few runs thru the batteries on mine so hopefully give it a blast this week.
Never understood the crack with needing to have a spotter. What is the purpose? No way if I dragged my grandad along with his binoculars he’d be able to tell me if I’m going to hit something.
Specially when I don’t have many friends to even tag along to do the “spotting” I’ll just stick to flying areas out the way of people

Doesn't the avata2 give you a low ambient light warning? I get that when i fly near dusk and the drone just isnt stable at all.
You will do yes, we are flying in full Manual mode here so it doesn't use the positioning sensors.
Zooming through the woods with a friend with the FPV headsets is like living in a Star Wars movie 😮

When I watch these I can't help thinking how easily they could be weaponised ..tanks, missiles, bombs, and everything else would almost be a completely redundant and pointless way of warfare, nobody could hide anywhere for long from a tiny drone with a heat/motion sensing gun on it. You could even completely prevent anyone hearing them coming by simply blasting out the noise of drones from loudspeakers.
I mean thats whats happening in the ukraine for quite a while now
Yeah crazy, they tend to use analog for cheapness and less chance of using anti drone systems, tracking etc.

Im from north Lincolnshire and Im always flying on my own, but I can see now that flying with someone else is a completly new level, new much more fun type of flying😊 I wish to have someone nearby who loves same hobby as I do 👍
Thanks! Yeah it's such a good shared experience! I think what I'll do is a add a Discord channel for FPV community and see if we can build a network of like minds so it might be easier to find some locals to fly with😁
