Thank you for posting these local videos. I love seeing local stuff. I hope you relocated those by my moms house on cow bayou by the drawbridge/Peggy's lol. I'd love to see a video or two of a few areas I fish on the neches north of the saltwater barrier and one particular cut near downtown Beaumont. Around goat Island in the pine island branch, all around the cooks lake branch and The cut near the tallest building downtown (Walter Humphrey building) by the water.
Anytime! Hahaha anything is possible 😁. Eventually I’d like to get back up around the Neches river and get some videos. I use to fish up in those areas when we lived up that way. Around the saltwater barrier can be really good!
Haha he’s coming up in my next short Rayburn video. I haven’t had a chance to work on it. We’ve all been sick with Covid the last 10 days. It’s been no fun over here. Hahaha yes it was. I’m telling ya that dog is so obsessed with fishing.
It’s brackish. Sometimes it’s fresh and sometimes it’s salty. It all depends on the rainfall we get up north. Typically in the winter it’s more fresh than anything.
@@bobbellow5502 barely LOL. So Garmin has weird measurements. I didn’t know until after I installed it their 50” is the same length as a minn kota 45”. Very weird! So if I could do it all over again I would of ordered their 57”. I love the trolling motor. It’s bad to the bone! I may end up putting it on my ranger and ordering a 57” later this summer.
I would love to ride with you one day and I can even help film. I am a newb that would love to pick you brain and make it into an informative How-To post for your channel.
I’ll probably be looking for a camera guy later this year. I’ve got a few idea I’d like to do and would need some help filming. Get with me after March. I’ll start to have free time then. My tournaments are kicking off next week. Definitely feel free to ask questions. I don’t mind at all.
Blue birds! They honestly need more people like us in there. People don't really realize how good of a spot they got there. I once saw a lady keep at least a 5lber outta there

I know exactly where you at on the river system. I see you 😂
Hahah that was my second or third time to fish that area. I think I got lucky and timed it just right.
Nice is that in saltwater?

Sorry for the spelling ( Dang Auto Correct, fishing to failing ).
What date was this filmed? What was the water temperature?
This was filmed December 10th. Off the top of my head I’d guess it to be around 60 the day I filmed this. I know it was really cold that morning.
Looks like you are gonna keep that boat.
I think so too. It’s all good. It’s still a good one and still fishes dirt shallow.
Is that trolling motor shaft long enough for tougher water without cavitation.
Is all that highline, and Burton's ditch to Black Bayou public. I know it is Louisiana.

Thought it looked short when I looked at it at Heritage.

Oh man! That’s too big of a bass to keep. I hate seeing people keep them over 2lbs outta this place. There aren’t many of them.
Also about to dm you a picture of the biggest "mud fish" I caught
