Hey bro how did you mount your tachometer on the cluster hood? I tried to screw them there but the plastic cracked.( I should've heat gun it first) :slaphead: It looks so good there. Nice videos man!
This EF hatch is a cornering machine, Power to weight plus a more track tuned vehicle will outdo most commercial vehicles out there. The BMW may have you on the straight but at the corners he was getting pushed. Nice!
Actually, since you don't understand this, just going to point out both the IS-F and M3 let off so the guy could pass on the straights. You can even see him wave 'thanks' as he goes by the M3. Props for hanging with those cars though!
M3 driver wasnt "playing" with anybody, this is the big boy track kids where we care about our lap times. And he let the Civic pass out of common courtesy because he knew he was slowing him down and hurting the Civic owners lap times around every corner. The track is about courtesy, not that you children would understand.
Great job. That e46 driver must of been getn pissed lmao. That is did great on the high speed sections. Lots of stability. U drive with a very mild technique but it works for u. I tend to dig deeper into the corner and get my heel toes done right before the apex, than jump in and let the front wheels pull u out as strait as possible.
Can I get some input from you? How is a 95mm crankshaft in terms of reliability in a b series for road racing? I am contemplating on keeping my b20 crank (b20 block w/o girdle) or upgrading to a lightweight 95mm crankshaft for cheap. I will be running a 5.512" rod with custom lightweight pistons on E85, 14:1 compression, and Skunk2 Pro3 cams. Full race car and I don't mind replacing rings every season. Please let me know.
Nah, it depends on the engine. D series need more work than an B series 1.8engine for example, stock b18c's can hold up to 400whp and are known to hold up to that number
Ben il t'aura bouchonner un moment avec sa M3 ^^ Ca me rappelle une session à Prenois ou une 911 m'avait saouler comme ca !!! En tous cas bravo, beau coup de volant ;)
@240sxmetal I'm telling you, Hondas gotta be one of the must underrated cars ever made...talk about 5.0 V8s and turbo'd straight inline-6s all you want, but if this is what you can do with an 2.0l N/A DOHC VTEC, then I'm sold and that's not including the fuel economy, light weight, reliability, and most importantly, handling... look at it this way, everybody else (as car manufacturers), have failed at building proper FF cars (with a few exceptions) - does that make Honda that much more advanced?
You have a nice car. Engine doesn't seem to reving freely. Maybe too much internal friction/crappy oill? You also have a neat driving line, however you can improve you lap times by late braking with heal/toe technique. Left foot brake and gas inversal modulation in medium speed corners. Also you don't shift fast enough lol
You need to work on your heel n toe down shift but the car runs good and that m3 tho shift i would of passed him way before in my CRX with alot less power but then again your EF is prob heavier than mine and weight matters more than power at the road course......then again not bad and look like you had fun...i can wait to go back to a road course!
the nice thing about civics is that if you put an decent engine in it, like 200 hp it will go like stink, becaus its so god damn light!!! (sorry for bad english)
268 hp for a vtec?.. that's very good.. it's still a vtec because when you want to increase the hp more than 165 you really have to change out all the engine
Sounds like your pressure plate has too much force on the clutch...or you need to beef up the hydraulics..put in some braided hose from clutch master cylinder to slave...
Haha you know he let you pass him right? You notice how the civic was getting dusted. The M3 was messing with you. He would let you get close then just leave you then let you get close again. Trust me look up the lap times for an m3 trying let alone a 50+hp lighter CSL version.
That Civic has a curb weight of 1060kgs from the factory, he has stipped it down further, i would say safely below 1000kgs or there abouts, we dont know the exact whp out of the BMW,that figure could be a flywheel number, also what tyres is the BMW running and brake pads, suspension setup, etc. like i said, you have a science major, and clearly pwr to weight is the only thing relevant here. sigh.. #failboat,
Your car is total beast! Cheers mate you are an inspiration to all Honda owners!
Wow, your EF is such an inspiration. Holding up with top notch cars. Mad props.
Very responsible driver, props & respect for the sick build
who else was silently cheering for the HONDA and felt good with each pass!!
Damn...bill even had a passenger too. Great driving, really inspires me to build an EF like that too later next year.
This video is inspirational for me. You put on a giant killing performance.
listening to a honda engine grooving in the 7000 rpm range is almost like f1 music
Hey bro how did you mount your tachometer on the cluster hood? I tried to screw them there but the plastic cracked.( I should've heat gun it first) :slaphead:
It looks so good there. Nice videos man!
What is the difference now on your rpm limit since u stroked it?
This EF hatch is a cornering machine, Power to weight plus a more track tuned vehicle will outdo most commercial vehicles out there. The BMW may have you on the straight but at the corners he was getting pushed. Nice!
Actually, since you don't understand this, just going to point out both the IS-F and M3 let off so the guy could pass on the straights. You can even see him wave 'thanks' as he goes by the M3. Props for hanging with those cars though!
@LoxiasTakos
thanks sir.i have no oil radiator, but i have oil squirters milled with 95 mm crank.
Attack mode switch is moved to the ON position at 4:50. Lol. Nice video dude.

Nice movie, nice car, nice rpm, nice sound. I enjoyed watching :)
What size are the fittings for your valve cover breather? -10AN?
Love the car b the way, must be great fun,

good shit tho
Nice driving
i love the throttle sputter :D SOUNDS FUCKING AMAZING
respect..just absolute respect.
hey man when u do the turns how do you downshift? like do you heel-toe or what?
Great run
Nice car and driving bro! Props
after 5 minutes the man gets in attack mode....well done man...
took it to the track now...Cool

At 5:40 the grey car realized this civic is gonna pass me... power of a stroked B series...
this is fucking amazing
bad ass hatch

@kraemro je lui ai fait signe du pouce !
B18c5 or c1

passenger got scared @ 7:50
the nice thing about civics is that if you put an decent engine in it, like 200 hp it will go like stink, becaus its so god damn light!!! (sorry for bad english)
Double clutch would have passed him on the turns... He's slower at turns remember!!! Nice run though
Beast ef. Looks like he own the track compare to the other noobs out there
@billvtecRPM nice overtake but you could of had him earlyier nice video tho
that was awesome right!?
Also you could have carried waaay more speed through many of those corners, besides that good job
Buddy doesn't cut corners anywhere, @MultiSharky23
@tsmith616
i have BC RACING er pro. (gas)
268 hp for a vtec?.. that's very good.. it's still a vtec because when you want to increase the hp more than 165 you really have to change out all the engine
Just going to point out to any one who doesn't understand this... You over took an IS-F on a straight.
Honda driver is not giving it everything
I thought he'd never take that M3... Bazinga
Tu lui a fait quoi comme signe à la BMW, quand monsieur a bien voulu te laisser passer ???
En tout cas, tu avances avec ta voiture !!!
Sounds like your pressure plate has too much force on the clutch...or you need to beef up the hydraulics..put in some braided hose from clutch master cylinder to slave...
alors mon billy!!! ca craquotte les vitesses!!!lol
@monkeyturd15 its bored to 2 liter from 1.8l

...should have scrolled to see this before posting my comment... true. "to anyone who doesn't understand this..." LOL
y is he shifting like that???
no like he shift real slow when accelerating or like letting the clutch go slow??
Vinny Vang Yes I noticed that too... He shifts pretty slow
raidacaipo stock clutch/flywheel
No you don't ...a few choice mods will see 200hp..
I dont think the ef is making 265 hp but gr
In my opinion its under thats for sur
2nd gear grits but maad car
Now if that is a supercharged M3 CSL, the driver hardly gave half throttle :/
Max Lindner it was!
Whatever it is, a 490 hp csl would just drive away from a 2 liter n/a civic. There is nothing more to say, bro.

What a child you are. Sorry, this conversation has ended right here.
This M3 is not stock man
Beautiful but dammit... Your shifting is so..... Mobivhxfarufoblbuudsckbnlibivyststdg .... I'm dying here watching the video
@billvtecRPM lexus IS F
HE CUT THE TRACK *LOL
Man that m3 is slow in the turns compared to the ef...
