Sun Valley/ Flying Squirrel (New 2023)

Installed in 2023, this brand new UNI-G high-speed quad replaced an old Stadeli double also named Flying Squirrel. in 2012, the old Flying Squirrel bottom terminal caught fire and was eventually demolished. Fast forward to 2023, Sun Valley decided they needed more uphill capacity from the Warm Springs base, as well as an easier option to leave the Warm Springs base area, so this lift is essentially used to access the new Flying Squirrel run, as well as easier access to the River Run Base.
Flying Squirrel is a pretty standard UNI-G high-speed quad. It uses Doppelmayr towers and sheaves, UNI-G terminals top and bottom, newer styled Doppelmayr EJ chairs, and white lines on the seat pads. The lift is bottom tensioned and top drive. It's a beautiful lift that will last Sun Valley a LONG time.
