Sun Valley/ Lookout

Lookout, also known as "the lift to nowhere," was installed in 1973 by Thiokol. The lift is essentially used for access to Seattle Ridge, Mayday, and the bowls. It uses a simple fixed return and a really interesting drive, with a V-shaped wooden roof. I don't have any idea when this lift will be replaced. It's certainly showing it's age, and is a quite bumpy ride over the Depression towers. I reckon this loft has another 15 ish years before it's replaced.

I do eventually plan on going to Schweitzer. Definitely on my bucket list.
