I, too have autism spectrum disorder. I came looking for this song cause it played at my church when I was a kid and i wanted to hear it again, but now that I realize this song is helping someone with ASD, I will never look at it the same again. My struggles with ASD come from almost everyone I meet trying to change me and make me act 'normal'. This song will help serve as sort of a rallying cry for me now. Keep fighting the good fight against society's shackles!
God loves ppl with ASD. He made us all different for a specific purpose, it is up to us to seek Jesus and find that purpose. God is not offended or embarrassed with our humanity. He knows we have struggles in this life. Lean on Him and He will carry you. Praised be the name of Jesus

I have always loved this hymn ... and your version of it is THEE best one I have found on here, played exactly as I love to hear it (and as I believe Sibelius intended), and you have the lyrics just as they appear in our hymnal by Katharine Von Schlegel - I never like it when anyone changes any words of the originals of hymns.
