As per my experience we should start introducing food 1 by one just to check for any allergy in the babies. Also, try introducing boiled, peeled, and completely mashed fruits to babies. Start with just the quarter of a fruit to see how much your baby likes it and eating it. At the beginning, you only need to see what their likings are and don't solely depend on those foods. Because milk will only be their source of food now.

I prepare the following Recipe 1: Chicken+turmeric powder+cumin powder+paprika powder+yogurt with veggie dal and roti/rice Recipe 2: Paneer with mix dal and roti/rice Recipe 3: Boiled and peeled pear and apple (mix of both) Recipe 4: Yogurt with mashed strawberry and/or blueberry as a snack and these with roti as a main meal Recipe 5: Puffed rice roasted with little ghee (clarified butter) as snack, my baby loves it
Did you experiment making sugar free jam for babies at home? My mom apple and pineapple jam for me but it has sugar so if babies can have any alternatives to sweeten jam like puried dates or jaggery.
These days parenting styles are so different from tbe traditional ones! I remember my mumma told me that she made me eat shredded chicken during my 9th month and I immediately discarded it. Nowadays kids eat almost everything from a very small age which is quite shocking to the older generations of parents. I would like to suggest one thing that my sister did with her twins and it worked for them that she never introduced any kind of artifical sugar or refined sugar in their meals upto 5-6 years. She used to reduce jaggery and make a puree out of it for the longest time and I still remember their reaction when they tasted sugar for the 1st time, they didn't like it.

Even my son is 8 months old and is eating almost everything I serve him. I have also put strict restrictions on salt and sugar and he does not seem to have any problem with the taste of food. He eats everything happily. But dadis and nanis do not understand these things and put a lot of pressure on new moms to follow their traditional styles.

Oh ho! Hope he feels better soon! Banana generally bacho ko acha lagta hai. Already cough ya mucus ho toh generally banana avoid karne ko bolte hai. Maybe home made cerelac ingredients were not suitable for him. Did you add nuts in it?? Best to check with dr.. i have seen a lot of people try home made cerelac where a lot of diff ingredients are all mixed up and fed. Best h agar aap har ingredient 1 -1 karke do and then start with mixing.. I would do that. Baaki Doctors can give you best advice. Dont worry :)

Have you separately tried all the homemade cerelac ingredients before? Bachon ko pehle sare ingredients 1 1 kr k introduce krna hota h phr hi ap 1 sath mila kr khila skte h! I hope your baby starts feeling better soon

Hi love! No not at all apple as it is. I moved onto mashed foods from purées first like mashed banana, mashed avocado, mashed rice with milk , suji halwa, mashed sweet potato etc . I always give Apple in puree form or grate it very finely

No issue in giving egg you can give after 9 months
These are basic things which shouldn't be given to a child under 1 year raw cow milk, raw egg, honey , sugar and salt.
