Trains Through Spalding - May 2022

Another month has flown by with the regular traffic passing through, I am myself finding it more difficult to keep producing this Video has time is now catching up on me and I am unable to move as Quickly as I did in The 1950's !! Thanks to the local enthusiast for helping out with some of the shots this month. I do hope you enjoy watching.

That was quite an unusual working at 3:20 with the 66's you managed to include this month, no doubt there is a good story about it. I always seem to miss this type of thing at my end of the Joint.

Great video Roy. Thank you for sharing. Interesting to see the DB jumbo train which consists of 2 trains hence the class 66 in the middle of the train. Freightliner also do it with Mendip jumbo trains.

Thanks once again for an excellent video. Appears to be plenty of spare capacity on the container services. Also understand that EMR will be dispensing with their Class 156s as soon as possible.

Was the 2 x 66 trains due to a breakdown? Seemed very odd otherwise
