What a lovely experience. I have been interested in somatic (body) practices/emotional processing/release, and googled free body movement dance and ran into this video. I did not sleep well last night and woke up feeling tired today , and after dancing along with you i am feeling rejuvenated. The movements/music and your guidance truly resonated with me and what i have been learning /practicing about connecting with the body/feeling/processing/releasing the sensations/tensions/emotions. Thank you.
I often really like and seek slowness, especially now that I'm in my senior years. Because I seek it, that's why I did this video. I felt much better afterwards. I went for a horseback ride today, and the horse I was riding started out slow. The guide said General could walk faster than he was going. I said I didn't mind, unless we were in a hurry. I was thinking about the video. The guide told me we weren't in a hurry. When I felt more confident, I did have him trot a few steps. I like being allowed to go slow, while that doesn't mean I can't go a little faster when it feels right. For the video, I needed the slowness at the time. Thank you, Tamara, for offering it.
Oh wow Tamara! I am beyond grateful for this resource. It found me at the perfect time again. I recently discovered how slowing down is necessary for my well-being. But I started a new job and found myself rushing out of habit. I just did this before starting the day and I feel so held. Thank you always!
Thank you for your videos, I use the gentle movements to help with my chronic pain . I am slowly learning to be more gentle when moving and to feel the tension in my body and ‘ let go ‘ of it as I re train to move with greater ease and less effort . Also its a great energy/ mood booster!
Towards the end you said “take a comfortable seat on the ground” and that feeling of being granted permission to rest is something I didn’t realize I needed. I will be working on giving that permission to MYSELF more. Thank you so much ❤️
I really loved this one!! Again my RUclips therapist Tamara giving me another soulful video. I noticed I actually love the slowness and then I started going medium pace. So I'm gonna that this lesson with me,"Go slow". And don't stop doing what you do cause I appreciate you❤
Reading this warmed my heart so much!! Thank you for sharing your experience and it is so great you were able to connect with the joy of going slow, (which ain't easy!). Much love ❤❤
😍😍😍 a mi me gusta hacerlo por la noche! Si te apuntas al challenge aquí: danceandmovementtherapy.com/challenge/ recibirás todas mis recomendaciones para cada video y algunas sorpresas 😊
