Very helpful Lindey! Snapping & moving photos from phone to pc to Ebay feels like 80% of the job. You just cut that down to size, which is amazing. You have a very direct teaching style and anyone interested in this business should be sent this in a boxed set. Thank. You. You are very generous.
I struggle finalizing the listings on my phone. Too many times I've done it and found out later that Ebay made them all free shipping even if i listed otherwise. So I'll do pictures and a lot on the app but save draft and do the finalize on the computer AFTER I've verified shipping is right. Great video. Thanks!
I have the same issue. I choose priority and when I look at my listing live it has been made first class. I don't trust it either. But if your doing free shipping it might be okay.
I have never personally ran into that issue, but does not surprise me. Make sure your app is up to date & always check your listings after they are live.
74 random items, researched, templated and photo'd in 74 minutes. That sounds truly UNBELIEVABLE. That reminds me of these waxed feathered wings i had bought off some guy that lost his son. I have been meaning to try em out; didn't think they would work but, this video is such an inspiration i doubt what is even believable any more. I am just gonna find the tallest building and avoid the sun, so i should be OK. What do you think Lindey. You the BESTEST.
That was an excellent show and tell of taking pictures and listing. Love it. Create a draft. Verify the draft. Take pictures and upload to ebay. Othes have show this, maybe you in the past, but this was by far the best presentation of taking pictures and listing using a phone that I have seen.
A few months ago I watched one of your videos with similar info. Glad to see the entire process in one video. It was so helpful to do batches, but the biggest timesaver was doing a draft and taking photos on the phone!!! What a huge difference than transferring photos to the computer and then my photos stream had all those product photos. Love it!
BLESS YOU! I had a few boxes that needed Ross tags removed (and these things are sticky suckers!) I tried goo gone and it left an oil mark on the cardboard. I tried just Scotty peeler and it ripped the box. BUT! Hairdryer AND Scotty peeler removed with no residue and no torn box. Magic!!
That took WAAY longer than 60 seconds lol. The only part that was 60 seconds was taking the pictures and sending it live. Even though it wasn't true to the title, it was still very informative. Thanks.
@arrowguy173 I fully understand that she's taking time to explain things...I don't know what part of my comments suggests that I didn't understand this obvious fact or why you felt I needed a super intellectual such as yourself to help me realize it. You probably didn't read the latter half of my comment, it ok. I only made mention of the misleading, perhaps clickbait-y, title.
Hello Lindey, great video. I actually did learn something that wasn't in my practice. I didnt realize that within the listing page the advanced editing button brought up ones templates. I usually cut and paste that information from a description file I created in MS Word. Clicking in the specific template from the advanced editing button is a time saver for sure. I'm going to try it out when I get home. I'm so excited I can't wait to list some stuff this afternoon. Thanks again.
I am thrilled I found this tutorial. I sell fashion items but use the sell similar tool. Never knew it was called Piggybacking. Had no idea how to teach an assistant how to do this & will use your video as my tutorial.
I want to thank you because I need these videos. I have been trying to figure out how to make this eBay store take off. It has been frustrating but thanks to you, I have a hold new outlook and perspective.
Nail polish remover works great to remove residue from hardcover textbooks, Goodwill marker writings on the cover, other random markings. It doesn't leave any residue behind. Sandpaper can be used on the outside pages when the book is closed to sand them down and leave them looking white. I have a video on my channel on how to clean and prepare books if anyone wants to see that it goes through all these tips.
I used to wait and hope for feedback and would leave feedback if I received feedback. I switched to something different and got immediate results. Overall percentage of feedback is always going to be kind of lower than we want. But this method really gave good results and mamy feedback quantity has increased significantly. The tip of the day is when you sell something, as soon as you ship it out, leave feedback for the buyer. Once you have received payment, you probably don't have hardly any communication with the buyer directly. I I guess many buyers feel like he put one for me so I can take a minute and put it for him too. I went from about 3 or 4 to 35 much faster. If you need more feedback, give it a shot and let me know how it goes for you.
What I do is send a thank you message for the purchase and let them know the item has been picked up/dropped off. Let me know if they have any questions, etc. Is helpful since just because a label was created doesn't mean you mailed it out. Then after it gets delivered, I will leave feedback that day or next. Don't know if it is good or not, but my feedback has been over 80% from buyers. The note takes little work because it's a template at this point. I used to include the tracking code, but have since stopped. And leaving feedback after it's delivered makes it so I can keep track of what is still on it's way. And also takes little work. If or when I get to 30 or 40 or more sales a day, I might have to reassess things. But as it is now, it's easy. And a lot of the buyers seem to like it.
Goof Off works just as well for me and doesn't leave as much a residue. You can also use a old credit card to scrape. Drafts- You can also click Create Date to Sort Ascending/Descending. Good Video Lindey ! Thx !
This is almost exactly what I do already but fine tuned! I think I would’ve ended on a very similar system so thank you! You are by far my favorite reseller on social media. No bs, just honest helpful info :)
I love your channel, thank you for all the information and the time you take, can you make a video about how ebay stores works, what's the difference between a normal seller and a eBay store please!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you again
Only halfway through video and most helpful EVER! I have watched so many videos and listing things takes me sooooo long- this is so helpful! Had no idea it was that easy to custom bundle 🤦🏻♀️😄. Kids coming in from “recess” now, will watch rest later. Your videos have been so helpful to me THANK YOU!
I never thought about doing pictures from your phone!!! I am now just listing, listing, and more listing and then go back and take pictures and upload to DRAFTS and LIST!! Way more faster!! THANKS!!!! John
Lindey, you are so great!! Thanks so much for all of the information. I have been considering starting ebay and , because of you, i know have the courage to do it. How do you store your inventory for easy picking when you have orders?
We put the alpha numeric warehousing code at the end of the listing title. So having a list of tubs with space available, as we list, we cross them off and those items head into the tubs. Using your phone - when the items sell, the locations are their on the awaiting post list. We know sellers who have no warehousing system and group similar items in their storage making for hours of time wasted trying to find their sales.
Thanks Lindey so helpful as a new seller. I just had one question though, where in the process do you premeasure and weigh your item? I can't list my new items unless i put them in boxes with packing materials weigh them and measure. This is a tedious part of the process as well that i haven't figured out yet.
Lighter fuel is really good for stickers. The type you use in a zippo lighter. Cover the sticker with the liquid and leave it for a few mins. Then peel off. No residue and evaporates and leave no stains or smell. Just don’t smoke around it.
Hi Lindey I was wondering if you have a video explaining your day to day structure like how much time you spend doing each aspect of an ebay seller? I find myself struggling to stay on task. Do you list everyday that sort of thing.
What I do is take my photos with my phone, then sit and create drafts. That way draft and photos are done. I have a 1 yr old, so I upload my photos and finalize listings when putting him to sleep. I've been doing it that way for several months and it really is the fastest way for me.
Tamara Dzhalagoniya I do it this way as well. I don’t have a ton of listings, so I can see how Lindey’s method would keep me more organized and perhaps save time if I had a lot more listings. It’s interesting to see how everyone does this a little differently.
If you are dealing with some leftover goop from removing stickers/labels, sometimes you can use 70% rubbing alchohol and a makeup cotton wipe to get it off. I use this method to get the sticky stuff off of dishes I buy at Goodwill

Great video! Thanks for sharing I like the way you list your items. I generally did a little different which was much more work. Thanks so much for saving me time on this process
Awesome content, Lindey, thak you! I've heard about needing a square photo with white background as well as a minimum number of photos (I think I heard 5-6) to rank higher in listings. And my photos are turning out with dark/light stripes, so I've been trying to work around that little bugger (something about the AC frequency of LED bulbs and shutter speed of my old iPhone). Thoughts?
My android phone likes to change the settings of the listing such as adds best offer or shipping to free shipping. I only use the phone to add photos and have to finish up the listing on the desktop
Hello 👋 love your videos and your style. I just sign up yesterday after watching your video . You inspired me! I have a question 🙋♀️ Do you recommend I use individual or have an LLC ?
Hey Lindey! I'm wondering if you have an easy way to list multiple quantity items with variations. We just received our first Wholesale Ninja HBA Lot (thanks to you!) and we have several OTC supplements that are the same but with different sizes and expiration dates. This is our first time dealing with these types of products. We've also never done listings with variations. Any advice you have is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks and keep up the great job!
I just picked up 2 Scotty Peelers for a little over $7 including tax on Amazon. Awesome deal! I've sold before but have been away from it for a little while so this was a nice refresher "course". Have you used any of the third party listing companies like Auctiva? I know it costs but was wondering if there was any benefit to using them. And I bought a couple things from the store. Sorry for the long winded message 🤣.
Dunno about the 60 seconds part! If you're already doing the edit to move the draft to the top of the list you're half way to doing the photos already, loading them to your computer is probably just as fast.
Try nail polish remover for goo from labels, marker writings from Goodwill on textbooks or some other surfaces. It's better than Goo Gone. If you try it out, let me know what you think.
I have my templates made, i download a CVS file that will create how every many draft listings of the same type of item with all the info in them ( example 30 pairs of mens jeans)... then i upload all the photos to my VA.. she takes care of the rest... the thing is I do all of this while i am out picking... thats just for ebay/posh/mercari/etsy and lonely old bonanza... i have a completely different process for amazon but again ive boiled it down to getting it all done in the field
Great video! 😃 I'm clearing out a storage locker and it feels like a full time job and a bit overwhelming with a busy life already. Batching the items into smaller tasks is a brilliant way to make it more digestible. I'm going to label a few boxes so I know what step everything is at too. One thing I might do a bit different is try to keep my number of drafts low so I can hopefully skip the edit / final check step. We'll see if I can get away with that without too many errors 😆 Thanks again! (P.S. Anybody out there missing Turbo Lister like me?)
Hi Lindey! Thanks for another great video! Question: when you started a listing from someone else’s listing, then you got to the description, you clicked a drop down box and your templates were listed. I have two saved templates, but they don’t show when I click that drop down menu. How did you get those to be there? 😊
I guess I do this backwards. I sit at my light box and scan upcs with my phone, find a good listing, take pics, then save as draft. Then later I'll go through all the drafts and clean them up. I like your scrapbooking paper use. This must be what I think other people are doing when I see pictures I thought were on a countertop. Much better than just plain old boring white backdrop It's kind of a thing now for my disabled father and I to hang out in the livingroom and peel stickers while watching a good movie. We don't get enough of that time together.
?????Hello thank you for posting. I have a question maybe you can help. I used you coupon codes for wholesale ninjas and via. How do I ship the nail polish and make up lotion medicine. I need help since I heard this items may be restricted by going air. ????????
I list almost the exact same way. One thing I have noticed lately when I add my photos to an existing draft, eBay will automatically add "best offer" to my item. I always have to en-select this before activating.
Normally Wholesale Ninjas only takes 2 days to get which is awesome! It may be a little longer right now because of pandemic but I ordered a couple weeks ago and it was 2 days. They ship faster than any other wholesaler and they pack VERY well too. Just be careful about Health & Beauty because you will get some low resale value cosmetics mixed in and sometimes I only break even on the H&B after cost of goods, fees and shipping. The items will be in top shape tho!
I almost always use the mobile app for listing. Piggyback off other listings by scanning barcode with phone, peel stickers, take photos, the description copies automatically from the title the majority of the time I leave it. I’ve sold $48,000 in 90 days I promote all my listings. I can have a product listed in a minute or less. But in your situation with kids this may not work
Do you have a Bluetooth scanner and app that you would suggest for eBay by chance. I’m trying to get info selling on eBay and I’m trying to find a faster way to scan things at the stores. Any info would be very helpful
Can someone explain why you dont need to add the box dimensions / weight before listing it with this method? I am so confused... Do you just click auto calculate through ebay, and then when the item tells you it sold you can then go in and enter the information then?
Very helpful Lindey! Snapping & moving photos from phone to pc to Ebay feels like 80% of the job. You just cut that down to size, which is amazing. You have a very direct teaching style and anyone interested in this business should be sent this in a boxed set. Thank. You. You are very generous.

Try going into your business policies and setting up a standard default shipping method. This has helped me tremendously.
I have the same issue. I choose priority and when I look at my listing live it has been made first class. I don't trust it either. But if your doing free shipping it might be okay.
I have never personally ran into that issue, but does not surprise me.

Yep the app is glitchy, and so is ebay's ancient interface. Needs some serious work.
I tried using my phone and don't like it at all. I only use my laptop now.

@@mkt92z I agree it's not a 60 second listing as there was a lot of legwork beforehand on the computer
It is misleading and you have a factual point. It’s amazing how defensive people get

You can also scan the UPC number with the Ebay app to bring up the listings 4 that item👍😁 great info!!!
Thanks! I didn’t even realize eBay had the scanning thing. I thought only the amazon app did lol

Hi! Just thought I'd mention that Goo Gone does in fact leave an oily residue. Thankfully, it can be removed with dish detergent and water.
For sticky residue if you don't have Goo Gone, just try a little olive or coconut oil, then wipe off any oil residue.

Hi Lindey, do you ever use the remove the background feature in the eBay app after taking pics, or would you recommend using it. Thanks - John
?????Hello thank you for posting. I have a question maybe you can help. I used you coupon codes for wholesale ninjas and via. How do I ship the nail polish and make up lotion medicine. I need help since I heard this items may be restricted by going air. ????????
Great info -- thanks!
Do you have any videos about temple? Thank Lindey !
I list almost the exact same way. One thing I have noticed lately when I add my photos to an existing draft, eBay will automatically add "best offer" to my item. I always have to en-select this before activating.
you might try lighter fluid it takes the goo off the product and no residue no staining cosmetic sponge is what i use with it.
VERY helpful 👌
thanks
How long do you have to wait for a shipment from
Wholesale ninja? Thanks
Russ
Russ, I reached out to them today. They said it is currently taking up to 4 days to prepare the shipment. 😣
Hi. I thought the background had to be white? Or at least for the first picture.
YOU ARE SUPER. THANKS 🙏
You can shoot your pic in square and you don’t have to crop
Is there a max. Limit on how many drafts a seller can have at one single time?
I almost always use the mobile app for listing. Piggyback off other listings by scanning barcode with phone, peel stickers, take photos, the description copies automatically from the title the majority of the time I leave it. I’ve sold $48,000 in 90 days I promote all my listings. I can have a product listed in a minute or less. But in your situation with kids this may not work
Have you ever had a problem with drafts disappearing?
Do you always do free shipping?
Use Un-du it has its own scraper and works awesome...
Thank you!
Good stuff, thanks
Do you have a Bluetooth scanner and app that you would suggest for eBay by chance. I’m trying to get info selling on eBay and I’m trying to find a faster way to scan things at the stores. Any info would be very helpful
I have be receiving my stuff from ebay store, Through the help of SOUTHHACK1🇺🇲 on Instagram, i only pay for shipping.
Inbox 📥 him and get your now.
Can someone explain why you dont need to add the box dimensions / weight before listing it with this method? I am so confused... Do you just click auto calculate through ebay, and then when the item tells you it sold you can then go in and enter the information then?
Thanks
