Also I do believe the wind charge's phasing ability could potentially work for stopping long circuits once they're done with their cycle, aim the wind charge at the beginning from the end and send it through to stop the gears
I know it's just "yeah that's how that works", but I enjoy that it was clearly oxidizing behind him during his time tinkering with the wind mechanics (such as in the lower-right corner of the face). I found that amusing.

I actually think you can make some uses for the randomness. I built a machine that uses it to, well kinda just gamble. And yes i know you can do that easier with basicslly just a dropper. this card style presentation video is hitting the right spot for me is cohesive and straight to the point while in a large video sometime people get lost. Keep it up M.
I watched a video on wind charges maybe a week ago, so something that might be interesting to test with is the fact that water can push wind charges without exploding them. Perhaps this could be used in a way to realign them for accuracy? I also wonder if they could activate tripwires without exploding since that combined with the ability to phase through some block types might be handy to activate multiple circuits while avoiding others.
0:10 very heartwarming, wholsome and British moment. I postulate that the caprine denizens have acquiesced to the acceptance of your proffered contrition.
The wind charge turning on and off lights is very cool. Would work well for a single light switch to turn on or off a whole room whilst keeping a single block roof thickness. Dispenser in the floor wired to a button that fires a wind charge upwards. Cover with a carpet for aesthetics. Awesome
~10:55 This would be a nice way to cleanly replace redstone torch towers for passing signals down. Say a control tower firing down to activate remote doors or a moving wave floor made of a crapton of pistons... >.>
For remote dispenser triggers, you could create a larger array of buttons such that hitting any of them activated the remote component which should make the accuracy a non-issue. This might also be nice as a source of normalized randomness (e.g. activates the input near the middle most often and outer inputs less often.
The absolute style you can have with this. I REALLY wanna use this to clean up builds that have long red stone lines in more visible places or over walkways. Plus it would be so dope to see all the charge flying overhead.
the pixel one will be so cool for escape maps imagine finding different codes throughout and having to use charges to input them and each one does something else, like opening a new area with puzzles
What's insane is this is pretty much exactly how grenades work in Marathon. They allow you to grenade jump (the first game that let you do that btw, every projectile pushes you opposite the direction you shoot it) AND they activate buttons from afar. Pretty sick mechanic that basically hasn't been revisited since 1996.
the wind charges going through non-full blocks made me think of a cool secret room mechanic. like, imagine backwards stairs in a wall that blend in perfectly but you can throw the wind charges through to activate some fancy thing
The wind charge can also pass through wet mud because it's not identified as full block. So you could make a contrabtion whereby you trick your friend so he steps on a pressure plate in which they will start checking if there is any redstone under it and when they think it's safe a wind charge shoots out of a wall of mud launching them high in the sky and you place lava beneath him.
I'm not going to lie, when you built the string lights and that path I was immediately impressed and thought you needed to do something like that in HC. You often build industrial bases or builds but this looked SO CUTE!
The next layer of progression after tools and armor: Accessories: It Increases player’s stats like hit points, block reach, jump hieght, inventory slots… . An Additional heart icons will appear for the player. Accessories are crafted with blocks of ore (blocks of diamond, iron…) and unique loot from epic dungeons. They have levels just like tools and armor according to the ore it’s made of, just like armor and tools. They are spread through the dimension they are useful for, for example to craft the one who extends block reach, one should go to caves(trail chambers), adding inventory slots -> the end, adding breath points/bubbles oceans and adding hit points/hearts -> warden dimension… .
I love the title cards so much. Those always get a little chuckle out of me while also not being disruptive enough to make me lose focus on what Mumbo's saying. Love all the silly inventions mustache man makes too, maybe theyre impractical but they're definitely cool and isnt that what really matters?
I'd love to see Mumbo build a whole village/base in the style of the little path he built. Redstone contraptions built into the environment for all sorts of things
They would be so useful for a secret base. You could line your wall with stairs and have some sort of place where you know you’ll hit the lever/button that opens the door. Great video Mumbo!!!!😊
I would love to see the interactions between the fart stone and calibrated skulk sensors. I feel like it could lead to some interesting interactions depending on what category the wind charges end up in! That layered redstone where you activate something through other lines of redstone feels extremely useful.
the fact they made the wind charge 100% accurate right after this video is funny, i imagine it is way more useful now, another video would be interesting
Removing wind charge randomness is gonna be so awesome, these things alone are getting me back into redstone. I wonder if they can be used to give a scripted boost to an elytra or even just a minecart. Wind charged stunt jumps would be class
I remember back in the days when mumbo wasn't able to decorate anything very beautifully. It is amazing how much he improved, that pathway and the trees looked awesome!
Also: half Blocks like stairs with their full face facing the player, hiding the contraption. You stand on a pressure plate, and wind travels from inside a wall through another wall and activates something on the other side. You could imagine secret doors. This speaks volumes to the imagination. If I'd played a game with that in it when I was young, my mind would've been blown.
“And this is not something i wouldve been able to do without wind charges” do arrows not exist in your mind? Just change the button from stone to wood and activate it with a bow. Easily achievable without wind charges.
Something that can be done with this is to make "enginneering corridors", or just pass through areas. You can have one half of a contraption on one side of a hallway, and hqve it shoot a charge through the other side, activating something on the other side, allowing for a space that both people, and redstone signals can pass through, allowing for easier checking up on redstone machines, and, redstone contraptions can more easilly fit around builds by allowing hallways to not have to work entirely around redstone, and vice versa.
The amount of traps you could make now is great, it also gives you the special ability of setting off traps remotely without someone knowing, which is something sculk sensors can’t really do
Honestly I do believe this is a revolutionary feature for redstone contraptions. The potential for wireless systems and different contraptions interacting with each other from a distance, while also being able to save space, I believe, will change the way people think about farms and things in the future. Really cool concept!
Idea for wind charges: Ender Dragon farm. Setup bullseyes at the top of each piller that trigger redstone to pop the prisms. Alternative idea: Use wind charges to turn on/off complex machines from ground level (ie tnt duper bomber, mob farms, high latency farms)
if they add tornados and wind weather they could add something that gets triggered by wind and you could have your roof open up when its nice and sunny and slam shut when a tornado appears.
The amount of hidden entrances you can make by throwing a windcharger at the backside of a stair will be great
So expensive though

For remote dispenser triggers, you could create a larger array of buttons such that hitting any of them activated the remote component which should make the accuracy a non-issue. This might also be nice as a source of normalized randomness (e.g. activates the input near the middle most often and outer inputs less often.
Someone said they fixed the randomness but i havent tried the wind charge so idk
The absolute style you can have with this. I REALLY wanna use this to clean up builds that have long red stone lines in more visible places or over walkways. Plus it would be so dope to see all the charge flying overhead.
the pixel one will be so cool for escape maps
imagine finding different codes throughout and having to use charges to input them and each one does something else, like opening a new area with puzzles
I just want to say that i love the title cards you have made for your videos, absolutely chuffed to bits
I almost had a heart attack when i saw the street that Mumbo built, i guess friendship with Grian goes a long way.
The wind charge day/night light thing would be so cool outside a shop in the hermitcraft shopping district. (Wink, Wink)
I would say use the fartstone as a way into your hermitcraft base, but walking into the danger zone is better
11:07 I LOVE that you can see he goofed off with his drawing contraption here
I'm not going to lie, when you built the string lights and that path I was immediately impressed and thought you needed to do something like that in HC. You often build industrial bases or builds but this looked SO CUTE!
The next layer of progression after tools and armor:
Accessories:
It Increases player’s stats like hit points, block reach, jump hieght, inventory slots… .
"Wind is pretty cool."

I really love Mumbo’s title cards and stuff, it really compliments his editing style ❤
They would be so useful for a secret base. You could line your wall with stairs and have some sort of place where you know you’ll hit the lever/button that opens the door. Great video Mumbo!!!!😊
You could probably use this for a secret base.
I would love to see the interactions between the fart stone and calibrated skulk sensors. I feel like it could lead to some interesting interactions depending on what category the wind charges end up in! That layered redstone where you activate something through other lines of redstone feels extremely useful.
Seeing the redstone testing world is one of my favorite moments of these videos!
the fact they made the wind charge 100% accurate right after this video is funny, i imagine it is way more useful now, another video would be interesting
This gives a whole new meaning to Steampunk.
The string lights would be so cool in Scarland!!
make a secret door where you throw a wind charge through a slab floor or a wall of backwards stairs to open it.

Mumbo saying a Dispenser is "shooting the wind" is something that wasn't on my 2024 bingo card of Redstoner quotes.
the strung lights sold it for me, cant wait for this
Something that can be done with this is to make "enginneering corridors", or just pass through areas.
The amount of traps you could make now is great, it also gives you the special ability of setting off traps remotely without someone knowing, which is something sculk sensors can’t really do
I LOVE THE WIND CHARGE LIGHTS SO MUCH IT'S SO COOL
Honestly I do believe this is a revolutionary feature for redstone contraptions. The potential for wireless systems and different contraptions interacting with each other from a distance, while also being able to save space, I believe, will change the way people think about farms and things in the future. Really cool concept!
I never would have expected a pneumatic piston door to be possible in minecraft, but Mumbo has done it! And stylishly as well!
