Stay Flexy! Incredible experience.
Dude! WTF are you made off!!!
Note: I don't want to minimise how much effort and knowledge and the thousands of hours you put into it by implying you are gifted with rubber tendons or whatever. I fully respect everything you've done to get to the point you're at - that is just an "ok" way to express how ineffably impressive you are.
I had to get someone to stand on my shoulder to keep it from coming off the ground in that prone exercise. Serious leverage issue. Left did not lift, but I might have you with my right arm though.
It's awesome seeing you on the fitness channels
Would love to see you cover FAI/CAM impingement. Supposedly affects 25% of men in some populations and prohibits deep squatting/hip flexion.
INCREDIBLE!
I always share your videos with my inflexible Dad David. I also really like the orange flavored stay flexy powder that came from Dollar fulfillment. 10/10 recommend others to buy it!
Dr. Mike Israetel liked that
If he sees that this level of stretch at the bottom is possible he's gonna be even more vicious in critiquing everyone and never satisfied.
This guy ROMs even further beyond
Dr Mike is Team Full ROM, not Team Extreme ROM. Definitely a difference
@@michaelmcdonald1620 Extreme ROM is just the Full ROM you haven't discovered was possible yet XD
Doesn't look like it's working for hypertrophy
As a P.E. student it will never cease to amaze me how different top athletes can look. Both of these men are machines and yet they look so vastly different. Sport is truly beautiful and by god is it diverse.
just goes to show how adaptable the human body really is
Had a BLAST working with David!!! He's got some vids coming out with us on his channel next week so Subscribe to him! Podcast with him this weekend, super fascinating insights!
Bro I don't want to be rude, but one of your video with Magnus climbing video, many realized you are pink and green color blind.
May I ask where the podcast is?
Its the video after this, hope that helps @@angelramirez936
Forget knees over toes, knees below shoulders is where its at!
Knees way over toes
my knees are always below my shoulders
ayyo?
@@yonaoisme Well, behind your shoulders then!
So cool that all the comments on Juji's video talk about how nice David is and all the comments on David's video mention how nice Juji is
Yeah, probrably one of the most wholesome collabs ever haha
I’m totally imagining Juji waking up in a cold sweat at 3am and immediately having to call David about a crazy flexy way to use a standard exercise machine
Wow crazy collab. stay flexy
Some train for powerlifting. Others train for power bottoming
💀
its the only thing i could see
Powefolding
I bet he generates a lot of power
This is the good stuff. Juji, if you keep being the most flexible bodybuilder ever, you'll forever be my hero.
@1:55 Why does Juji look like a Costco rotisserie chicken here? lol
😂😂😂😂
Be the snack you want to see in the world
S U C C U L E N T 🍗
So we have the knees over toes guy, and now the knees over shoulders guy.
Such a good collaboration.
i really wanted to see you work with david. because of the overlaping intrest in mobility, what i didnt expect was the social dynamics to look this good. really good work guys
As a weak woman who only does yoga, watching you struggle with flexibility is making me feel pretty cool right now!
Two people who have had a major impact on my journey as an athlete! Prepare to be torched!!
David seems like such a wholesome dude
An adult female, is called a woman... "Trans" ideology is so regressive and sexist.
OMG! I was really hoping for this collaboration when you mentioned your new goals Juji :) excited to watch this one big time.
I'm gonna do those shoulder exercises for olympic lifting. David is great, already subscribed! I'd like to see him put Juji through the gauntlet of pistol squats, dragon squats, elbows to toes stretches, etc.
That was super fun, thanks Juji and David for just being good guys
This colab is one of my favorite in the fitness community and REALLY encourages me to work.on my flexibility 🙏💪
What a combo! Both really likable and knowledgeable. More of this!!
I’ve been wanting this collab ever since finding out how flexible juji is and finding David’s channel. Glad it’s here. Can’t wait to watch the podcast.
best guest in a long time imo. great content!
missed you juji!! what insane flexibilty😂
Awesome vid I always enjoy the ones where you meet interesting people that are good at what they do.
This was an awesome collab! Love to see two enthusiasts come together and address potential challenges solutions depending on what the target is. And it’s always great to see mutual respect for the other’s craft and skills.
Please keep making videos together, your energy and knowledge together is fantastic. From someone who is bodybuilding but wants to apply the flexy stuff to my workouts.
you guys are so fun to watch together !!
Just discovered David and now I'm seeing him everywhere lol. Love to see it. He seems like a great guy.
The collab i was waiting for !
hell yeah, sick collab
Thanks for crediting Jean Meadows. Still remember how he insisted on the streching portion of the movement.
Juji and David?! I didn't think I'd live to see the day! Awesome video!
Alright this was good. Not watch in ages but this was classic Juji. Keep it up!
Been waiting for this one.
Really entertaining video, and you guys have great vibes together ✨
Really nice collaboration! :D
Great tips for my shoulder replacement. I have been working hard to attempt to gain some range of motion.
What a fun collaboration! You guys definetly should do more in the future!
New Favorite Collab!
Love this collab
Great video Juji!
Never thought that I'd see the day that Juji lost a flexibility competition. David is impressive!
One thing that's sucks about becoming muscular is the decrease flexibility. Gotta train both.
Did a stretch-based mini workout while watching this video! Rotators and hammies only. Feels good mon.
Super helpful as I have terrible shoulder flexibility. The problem I have is as my shoulders don't go back far enough when lifted above my head, when doing overhead press I end up bending my lower back to compensate which hurts every time. Will try out some of those stretches
David is such a cool dude. Cheers guys ✌🏽
Quite impressive! I need to get back into stretching. 💪🙂👍
Crazy get together. Great choice
I needed this for my shoulder flexibility issue!
Jujimufu is always on the best collabs !
this collab is top tier!!
Great workout video
Incredible video !
Awesome video!
Awesome collab I love that guy
I love how much fun they're having
Looking good juji, I'm in the shed phase myself still, damn shock loss
The collab we didn’t know we needed. But the one we love
Juji has the best collabs!
im so happy for this collab!
Great collab guys :D
I never expected this crossover!!
Flexi guy is something else. Juji is very flexible for his complection too.
Great episode!
Definitely was waiting for this collab.
Great collab
Sick crossover episode
surprised we didnt have David do the chair split!
So happy to see these two work together!!
Going to rain on some parades here.
This is all fine and dandy but the studies on hypermobility are very clear. The highest rates of injury occur in the least and most flexible groups. Now I stretch after cardio and in between every stet, stretching off muscle groups, as part of my rest period, but being that flexible and trying to do what I and many other do athletics wise would lead to lots of injury.
A good example of the hypermobility problem is Randy Orton. He has genetically hypermobile shoulders. That's how we got the RKO. He kept dislocating his shoulder on his first finishing move, The Overdrive .
I think the problem lies in combining strength training with flexibility training. I believe David even mentions it in one of his videos - stretching does lower your max reps if you train after it, it also increases the risk of injury. You should stretch after strength training or on separate days, never do it as a part of a warm up or in between sets, as it can lower your results. Some stretches seem like a "lightweight" training but they really are taxing on your muscles.
David is a wonderful person and i love you juji, salute from italy
I like the shoulder stick flexibility movement.
Interesting video! I like that David said that bodybuilding is the art of isolating muscles. I pretty much only lift weights to prevent or recover from climbing injuries and while I do the same exercises my goals are pretty much opposite to pure bodybuilders. I guess that's also why compound lifts feel so much better to me than training isolated muscles: correct form feels like bad technique to me.
Which I guess circles back to Juji wanting max growth from minimal time and recovery investment, while I don't actually want to get bigger, just more resilient to whatever dumb ass beta I'm going to try next
I haven’t seen many videos where Juji looked so impressed and interested
Great vid! I like the haircut. It’s weird to see you like that, but it looks good.
Juji Jr. Lol that's awesome to see collab
unexpected collab but I am here for it
7:38 GUYS if you do squats with this grip go light
I the weight is heavy, bar will slide down and break your humerus bone by spiral fracture
There is video of it happening too!
His long lenght partials would look CRAZY!
This is a wild brush. That last section was something else.
Fun! thanks guys
I have the same problem with external shoulder rotation when I squat. I'm going to use this to fix it.
Actually really like this dude.
My left ear loved this
Dude turned the squat into a tricep stretch 😅
David: my hip flexors are less stretchy than I'd like.
Also David: my hip flexibility let's my knees go below my shoulder
I came from flexy and it has been awesome seeing them both just geek out about the others hobby.
If you want insane shoulder flexibility while building strength then Olympic weightlifting is great. The benefits from front squatting are incredible for building strong flexible shoulders. Especially getting used to doing behind the head military presses from where the bar normally is during a front squat
Wow. That is some extreme flex
Juji is still amazingly flexible! But David needs to be in Cirq Du Solet! lol
I like getting a super stretch on combo fly machines, a thought that crosses my mind every so often is how possible it would be to start from the delt fly angle and go into a chest fly. Now I know. I have been fulfilled, satiated even.
Also the toe shoes on the leg press is ungodly.
9:15 "That might not be possible" I mean, after a couple warm-up sets that's where I tend to put my hands for the low-bar squat, and my shoulder mobility is awful. And even more, I usually have flat wrists, too. I think it's just if you squat that way, that position gets easier. This grip width was just how I was taught.
Juji looking clean with that hair.
The most flexible collaboration
Ok i just watched the ggr video and then came to your channel and saw the stay flexy guy ❤❤❤❤❤
I squat with my hands in the position that David used last.. I thought this was normal😅
12:03 😂 Juji treated it as you'd told him, it's bad, David.
Very light behind the neck shoulder press is great for shoulder mobility
I use it as a warmup for the backsquat rack position and it works great
David and Dr. Mike need to meet. Team full ROM would be in for a shock :)
