The fact that you tried new things and realizing you working muscles that you never worked before and loving it Is the definition of what is an athlete.👍💪
Thank you! I like a lot of things so I try a lot of things!
@Jujimufu u dont happend to be in john wick 4 getting smacked in the balls? cuz if not the guy sure looks like you 😂👍
Juji has turned into the ultimate warrior from WWF.
Highest of praise! Thank you.
Spud’s awesome. Super underrated. I always support his products.
Dude is really a legend.
@@jujimufu no he is real :D
I love sled work because it gives me absolutely insane quad pumps. Better than almost anything else. I actually do heavy pushes on my squat days as a way to add a bunch of extra leg volume with little to no impact on my muscular recovery. In fact, I feel MORE recovered on my next squat day having done this work. It is really an awesome piece of gym equipment. It is a shame they aren't more common.
Q😊
Yeah, that walking backward pulling the sled is BRUTAL on the quads. My brother owns the gym I've trained at since 1981, but the original owner who passed in 2017 used to absolutely destroy athletes with the sled and these damn weighted wheelbarrows he had custom made to climb hills. John Cena trained at our gym for years and even has vids talking about putting his fist through walls after training like an animal. At age 76 Dave Nock, the founder, used to load the wheelbarrows with hundreds of pounds then climb this huge hill/street outside the gym. The man was an animal with no quit in him. He wouldn't put you through anything he himself didn't do. He was an amazing guy who loved to watch people suffer. LoL
I'm currently doing everything backwards sleds, walking up stairs , wheelbarrowing to attempt to rehabilitate destroyed knee (grade5 osteoarthritis) like the knees over toes guy suggests. The pain is lessening and quads are on fire.
I do a little something every day and it seems to be working amazingly well.. hoping to be able to get to parrallel on a squat maybe even lower 🤞🏻
your endurance is incredible bro!
It's improved a lot the past year because I've been trying to improve it. And the rewards have been incredible!
The sled can take you to a dark place real fast.
Juju is slowly transforming into the Macho Man
The knight's tale analogy gave me a laugh. "How bad could it be?". Looked like you found out, that looked tough.
I love Spud. While he's not super expressive, you can tell he has passion for what he does and also really enjoys torturing Juji, both of which I appreciate.
Been watching you 6 or 7 years now . And i still laugh at you learning new things
Me too hahaha! 😅❤️
Not seeing a whole lot of potatoes.... Are you sure youre in the right place Juji?
I can literally see the pump in your veins from that first excersise lol. Love these unique styled workouts.
That workout looked brutal! Great finish!
Awesome functional strength exercises! Way cool! I'm totally adding this to my routine!
This seems like the kind of workout Sonny Liston would do. I've read that he was made to haul the plough at his family's farm after their mule died, though I can't verify this, and George Foreman is supposed to have said that he used to push wheelbarrows full of stones up and down a hill as a part of his workout routine.
A lot easier than a boxing work out. Because when you get tired on the sled it won't punch you in the face.
You should have brought Rick the Stick with you on this one.
He'd be a good partner for Sled workouts. I think Mike Bartos or Joey Szatmary would be the toughest opponents on the sled though.
@@jujimufu grizzly is a sled master on his own category
@@jujimufu I say Rick just for the entertainment factor. He is a nut!
That's a hell of a work out man. Keep that kind of heart healthy work up!
Friction can be a tough adversary 👍💪👍. I don't have a metal sled, but a car tyre on asphalt makes a LOT if friction as well. Well done!
Great video on an exercise option that will bust you up wirh full body farmer power
haha love the Bret Michaels reference
Laying it on the line for Likes & Subs. ❤
This looks great! I will be doing this soon! Great video 💪💪
Juji reminds me of Macho man Randy Savage
Oooo yeaaaaaa
Wow that was super intense. Outstanding job on doing that workout 99% of people could not have done that.
My quads are burning just watching this!! 🔥🔥🔥
Backwards sled drags = quad inferno!
@@jujimufu you did good Juji! Way to power through it! 💪💪
Great Video Juji! Your skillset never ceases to impress me :D
Spud is a helluvan athlete
Juji this was dang tough
Hi Kevin! Much love have a great weekend friend!
Juji!!! You're a manimal!!
I use this for my 400m training I love sled work but also hate it
Interesting. I can see how some of these movements could be extremely helpful for active recovery or even as a mobility developing tool.
I wanna see juji do this 4 times a week for like 6 months, and see how much stronger he gets. Plus see how much easier it becomes for him to do by the end... Just nuts.
Runescape noises are on point.
that warm up would take all i have.. that would be my whole workout..
Now I wanna try it
It's worth it!
Strength is a given. Hanging in there is not. Well done.
Can you do all these w a tank instead of a straight sled?
I use the Tank myself. Yes you can. Spud sells Sleds and the friction makes them a lot harder. Different tools but short answer is, yes for thr most part.
Kyriakos Grizzly would be proud!
the backwards push seems like a good exercise for cross country skiing
reps and sets? I think he just moves on 🐴
The sound those sleds made on the concrete must’ve been truly horrendous in person
Wow. This looks like the most heinous but fun workout.
Training ass to failure is no joke 😭😂 Awesome vid Juji Also NC, I saw ya at a distance at WSM 2023 in Myrtle Beach, you looked swole af take care bro
Not all of us can afford an Ass Failure. 😂
Lol you should have seen him up close!
Myrtle Beach was well worth the drive. Just wish that they had been better prepared for the enormity of the crowd...
@@alexschutz7283so true lol, I didn’t know a ladder was required prep
@@LakesReptiles lmao right?! And good luck finding them when you were already in Myrtle Beach! Don't get me wrong, I had a great time, and I managed to have a good spot for the bus pull, and a GREAT spot for the deadlift (Martins Licis was actually 5 ft away. There was an Asian girl and her little sister who were visibly fan girling about it, but obviously shy, so I asked him if they could have a quick picture with him. He is an incredibly gracious man and agreed. I can't overemphasize how good a dude he is). But they weren't prepared for a crowd that size and it showed. A great experience though, all things considered, and all of my athlete interactions were incredible.
Absolutely insane. Good job man
Dude.. loved your video collaborations with Magnus! It’s awesome to see you try new things! Would love to take you mountain biking on my channel! I can come to Charlotte, there’s awesome trails there 🤘
Kyriakos Grizzly is also a sled fanatic. There was a fitness youtuber that actually dared to train with him and he was subjected to two hours of pulling, rowing and pushing a sled/platform. He was obviously sore beyond belief for a day or two ofc but he admitted he had never pushed himself that hard ever.
Nice I do the plow all fucking day at work!!! Lol shovels full of crushed concrete into wheelbarrows from a dump trailer
What were you using to keep the Olympic bars attached to the sled? I want to try that
That is a solid workout, wish I could incorporate it into my workouts. Just don’t see how at this moment.
Yeah you need some space for surr. Maybe toss some fabric sleds and some weight in your car and find a park!
You should try getting an old exergenie or Apollo trainer. It can simulate these drags up to 600lb. I'd love to see you do a workout on that. I know Martin Licis used to use one.
That concrete is hell at Spud's with the sleds.
At 6:44 my entire canadian body shuddered remembering what its like to shovel snow like this and to catch the edge of the blade on a crack.... the paaaaiiin
Great content/video....as far as the workout though, I dont think anyone with access to actual equipment will be giving it up for this, lol. Routines that are overly complicated or unnecessarily torturous are great for clips, reels, etc... though.
I did like the stretcher sled work though. That looked like something great to implement for a strongman regiment
The grizz was the perfect touch 👌 aaaaaahhhhhhhh
@Jujimufu, I will quote Eddie Hall when he was helping Brian Shaw with sled training. "This how we win things Brian! When people want to quit, we keep moving!"
Where'd you get those straps you're using for the iron cross stuff and the legs?
I absolutely love your physique. Huge fan of the width/structure and my structure is similar!
Great ending being stretchered away.....hilarious
Haha. Killer workout. But best part was when they carried you out on the stretcher. Haha
Spud Inc! Juji was across the street from me and I had no clue!
Does it damage the concrete?
Sounds like it does at least
Sounds like it but doesn't? I've always been confused about this too.
You’ll be feeling that one for a while!
I got a sled and routine that'll torch you Juji. Come up and see me sometime.
I appreciate the 35lb weight hate. As someone who isn't very strong and doesn't need a lot of weight, I can find 35lb plates cheaper per pound a lot more often the other weights. Especially when they are used
❤ sledge
This looks painful and i want to do it now😂
It's worth it!
one way to hit the hip flexors cheaply is with a dumbell . hold the weight on ur thigh and pump.. prob not as good a range of motion ?
My days of these grinds are behind me!
*For youtube and competition, I get it, but for building size and strength, most of this shit is just conditioning and building legs.*
I know I will get flamed, but I never saw any advancements in my number goals off this hardcore shit and strongman relative events.
Juji
I don't think I could handle the noise! Screeeeeeeech!
We love and miss you (no homo)

A collab with Richard Lupkes would be epic. Another crossover athlete from traditional strength to armwrestling. This guy almost beat Denis in his prime as a Senior
Imagine getting like 20 people together going on a sled walk through town. Each with their own sled. .
Does anyone have a discount code for his website?
You are amazing, can you do tug of war challenge with the lion?
Grass ain’t better! We took our weekly group to a grassy hill and almost had to call the paramedics 😮
I remember the first time I did sleds. I was able to go about 200 yards worth and then my legs started giving out every 10 yards or so. I finished just took me a little bit longer
Sled work is no joke. I do sled walks for a mile to 1.5 miles. There is so many different variations to do, those bear crawls always murder me. Or farmer walks with sled in tow.💀
Please give us a feedback video on your soreness I gotta know your pain
Hello my name is Addy and my dad watches the circles and shows me all your videos. I do flexibility skills like splits with Ariel silks and was wondering if you have ever done them??
i farded
The amount of mass in your back is insane. 😂
cameraperson got triggered when the guy said 'the iron cross' lol.
Is juji gone?
Armwrestling showwww Brasil 🇧🇷
W man🗿 🗿 🗿
One of the hardest things we ever trained for was a tug of war competition. The owner of our gym had us pulling his SUV up and down the street as he intermittently applied the brakes to create more tension. Between that and the actual competition it was the most draining, exhausting, tiring, grueling bullshit I've ever engaged in other than my ex-wife and her incessant bitchiness. 😜
Gotta work on those transverse abs, do some vacuum abs, get that waist thinned down….
Damn, I got tired watching this on the couch.
Grizzly does 600kgs sled with his head btw, it's on his channel 😂
No pivot on the sled.
Juji always been watching you but non of your videos have been recommended to me at all in a couple months i literally watch your old videos but youtube is not promoting them
I wish I never went natural, I miss testosterone
Get Devon back.
Should try slimming up. Ur muscles be crushing your lungs. I mean I know you want to be big. But don't you want to feel good too?
This is very cheap and versatile DIY. Tow chains, plates, carabineers, dog leashes, a set of rotating handles. I am a big fan of gym rings and this pairs well
