I love Method. I watched the interview in its entirety without fast forwarding. This man is a majestic story teller, and his spirit is so genuine and humble. Hold ya head Meth, you the man 50 grand, we still out here rockin strong witchu.
I absolutely love this man! Method Man is definitely one of my favorite MCs.. He's not afraid to venture out and do different things. He's a living legend and still remains humble. Anything he does, I'll support.
As the rich get richer the poor get poorer. And people are so emotionally invested in these celebrities that when we try and get people to stop giving rich people money they will actually fight against you a poor person and justify why they love a celebrity that they don’t care if they are mega rich. People who are stuck on celebrities are mentally bankrupt and need to start making serious deposits in this mental bank.
@@johnanthonyakablueeyez5506this is one of the most retarded comments I’ve ever read. Method man is not only a celebrity but an actual a person and a real one too. He’s highly intelligent and thinks before he speaks. He’s not a kardashian bro
You gotta put Snoop an Red man in that catagory as well, Snoop made it cool to smoke weed an still be expected by high society that looks down on your average person that smokes weed, now matter where he goes an whoever is interviewing him he can be high as hell an they be like that's Just Snoop Doing Snoop.

+MrMilo2013 One of the worst thing to see in a mall or walking down the street is,To see a grown ass man dressing as if he is 18 years old. This look that Meth has is grown and stylish .We're not teenagers any longer. If your 35 and up dress your age and act it.Juss saying..
I remember meeting him when the 36 chambers came out he was the 1st one out the clan to come to the crowd and say wassup he shook my hand like he knew me for year's thats how down to earth he is
Refreshing. Im so tired of these rappers portrayin the image that all black men gotta be gangstas to be down. Phony. The wu is the wu. None of those gimmicks. Real requires no explanation
42 minutes went by quick! that was a dope interview... grew up on Wu-Tang so it's nice to see Method Man still doing his thing.. feel like a proud nephew or some shit hahaha....
Because Hot 97 is wack that's the first movie i thought of. Idk call me racist but Hot 97 are white folks that like Hip Hop but dont love Hip Hop its their job that's how i see they had more questions for Amber Rose than the legendary method man fuck i fux with Hot 97 but i just cant fux wit Hot 97
He's a fantastic live performer. He can steal the show on any song he's on. Shadowboxing by GZA IS Method Man's song. That's how much he crushes guest spots. He has one of the best voices in hip-hop history. He helped put Wu on the map by being the first legit star of the group, and he still is. He crossed over into movies. He was the only feature on Biggie's debut. His stuff with Redman almost pioneered an entire sub-genre.
When Method Man came in the studio with us with Red they slept in sleeping bags just like us and popped up ready to record because the session was still going.... They the most real Foreal
This is one of the best interviews I have ever watched. It's good to see respect in a game that has been cut throat lately. Allot of artist do not approach issues with such zeal but need to. ( if you don't know what zeal is look it up) You of the greatest ever in history of Hip Hop and Rap, Meth I support you bro
buphoon you have no idea baby it was a whole 'nother world both for better and for worse but that was the second golden age of hip hop and I hope you live to see a third cuz this mess going on now aint it. The music sucks. I am glad you grew up appreciating the real. I was luck enough to meet the whole clan together (even Ol' Dirty RIP) in 97! The 90's was the door opening to hip hop becoming a business, and not just a hobby or cultural obsession. I'm glad it became profitable, but the flipside of that is the gross commercialization, exploitation, and gentrification of the genre. Nevertheless, black/brown/asian people held it down! One of the realest to ever do it. Finally hot97 got someone dope to interview. Nobody gives a fuck about Fetty Wap or Amber Rose....more hip-hop legends like Mef great interview
When it comes to personal top 5 conversations, Method Man is my #1 of all time and I mean by a mile!! His verse on "Shame On a N****" is what made me fall in love with hip hop and Wu-tang at 11 yrs old. I've paid attention to his entire career since and I have not heard one verse I didn't like! I can't say that about anybody else. He was king of the features in the 90s, still killin it today, great actor, funny, real af, good role model, cool as a fan. G.O.A.T. no question in my book
Method man was FO-SHO! my favorite Wu! Just a super talented Rapper.. his lyrics were rediculous dope and Futuristic in content. Yet always relevant and had history about em too.......
Man I got tears coming down my face from laughing so hard. When Meth said when the cop rolled through and said his name on the loud speaker. He thought it was cool Police know my name and his dude said naw nigga that ain't cool. They know you. You next! Man I can't stop laughing. I grew up on Wu. My man Meth A.K.A Johnny Blaze!!!
I have been in love with this man for, literally, 20 years. Since "You're All I Need to Get By" with Mary J dropped when I was 6 years old and I was smitten- he's fineeeee, he's a legendary lyricist, and he's so humble and smart- ahhh, i love him.
I got to meet method man personally And he's one of the most humble people I ever met. I can't wait for his mix tape to drop this summer. Shits going to be fire! Shout out to Staten Island!
Love it when you hear an interview with someone so smart and deep into the entertainment industry. you start, next thing you know you have been listening for 2hrs. Be interesting to see who can still drop music just as good as the start in another 20+ years like Wu can. That look at the very end of the video over the comment about BIG was worth watching the whole thing. That one really hit him and you can tell.
great interview. it's crazy how much Wu have given to hip hop. Supreme Clientele, Liquid Swords and Cuban Linx are arguably in the top 10 all-time hip hop albums.
see, old hip hop artists were intelligent, well spoken and interesting people. If you interview anybody from that mid-90's era, they're always gonna shed perspective in a thoughtful way. artists today can barely string an interesting sentence together
Im an old head, rappers from back in the day were no different they just grew up like most kids do, but they weren't always that way because ain't no fool worse than an old fool, method man dam near 50yrs old, how he is going to look acting the same way he was acting when he was a teenager, he got kids the same age as alot of these young rappers out here today, he's trying to have positive influence on his children an other kids out here that look up to him.
