Hey Joe, yes absolutely! If you head upstream from the "blackwater creek ramp" in the Seminole Forest you have about 3.5-4 miles until you can't go any further. If you decide to head downstream first it is about 6-7 miles to the Wekiva River. There was a tree down about 3 miles into this direction the last time I was there and had to portage to get past it, but it was manageable. Hope you can get out there sometime soon! Thanks for watching and for the support!
Hey @sailorbluepr. Paddleboarding would be great way to enjoy Blackwater Creek! You have to email and get a permit from the Florida Forestry, the permit is free. They change the combination monthly. Email Shanin and she can help you out. shanin.cox@fdacs.gov Hope you get a chance to get out there and have some fun, thanks for watching!
great video!
Hey @maureenwright3979, thanks for the kind words, and thanks for watching!
I was wondering, for me an older kayak fisher, is it possible to paddle against the current first or is it blocked?
