Hey, bro, Will you ever be back?
i call that first meal a silver turtle. my dad taught me how to make it. i make it everytime i go camping except I usually use ground beef
You need some male company I live nearby I like island camping give me a haller
Maybe a quick tip for catching trout while on the move. One of my favorite ways to catch trout is troll a paddle tail behind me while I’m moving locations. I’ve caught a lot of trout doing this. Great video!
Love your videos! I can’t wait until it cools down here in swfl so I can start doing some camping videos myself!
Skiff holding up pretty good. Interested in getting one instead of a Jon boat.
I like the content! I’m central fl too! Subbed.
I use to camp there back 84 ,you just picked a spot and hoped the wild hogs didn't mess with you,
This is awesome, exactly what I’m trying to do later this year when it cools down
New subscriber! I just watched some of your videos. They are pretty good. I love camping and camping videos is something I want to incorporate into my content this year. Keep up the good videos!
All they need is a vin ## i got my boats in texas done that way. Be nice and charming they will lic it. I lost my m.c.o... they did it for me.
Hope you get that all figured out and taken care of soon. I think you'll really like this vessel! Thanks for watching!
Interesting
I miss you, buddy. I hope you're okay.
Hey Cookieman, all is good, just super busy with life and have not been able to get out much. I am hoping to get in some trips here soon. Hope all is well with you too and always appreciate your support!
Miss your brother, but understand life can be busy.
That intro was perfect! Beautiful video overall too. Just purchased that same skiff because of your videos(except they were sold out of teal). Pumped to get out there!
Yes...We watch videos to see you eat. Good job. The rest was really great, though. Very enjoyable!
Hey @silverwildeproductions1085, thanks a ton, really appreciate the kinds words and for you watching!
Hey do you mind measuring the top of the transom to the bottom of the boat for me? I’m going to mount an outboard on mine but don’t know which shaft length to get. Thanks in advance ! Love the vids btw!
Hey @anthonywalker5410, that is awesome, glad to hear you are getting a SK12, super happy with mine! The measurement is right around 20 inches. Here is the one I purchased and it is a good fit. suzukioutboardteam.com/suzuki-6-hp-df6as5/ I really appreciate you watching and for the support!
Good video...dont call it a solo skiff..thats a different watercraft altogether
Hey @ARCENAULT, yea I understand what you are saying, it is not a skiff from SOLO. I was in between that vessel and the one I got. I opted for the BKC skiff, just due to the platform and I feel as I can store more gear on this one. I appreciate you watching and for the support, cheers!
Hi, want to go paddleboarding, what is the lock combination
Hey @sailorbluepr. Paddleboarding would be great way to enjoy Blackwater Creek! You have to email and get a permit from the Florida Forestry, the permit is free. They change the combination monthly. Email Shanin and she can help you out. shanin.cox@fdacs.gov Hope you get a chance to get out there and have some fun, thanks for watching!
what island in the spoils are you at??
Hey @hardlyseenalwaysnoticed, BC 37 (maps.app.goo.gl/ztWAdjYntebQKJMMA) There is a kayak launch launch right on the corner of US 1 and Rocky Point Road where I launched out of. Sorry for the delayed reply and thanks for watching!
I’m yet to camp Econ … doing Mosquito lagoon next month for 3 nights .. and Rock Springs Run is an old stand by .. Econ is less than an hour from me .. gonna try it soon .. thanks for this .. keep up the great work
Hey @FloridaManPat, hope you stayed cool and relatively bug free on your trip to the Lagoon. This time of the year, I know it can get a bit rough! Rock Springs Run is always awesome and highly recommend trying out the Econ, another wonderful area. Thanks for watching and appreciate the support!
Very cool! You make it look super easy and fun!
Hey @williamsanchez6131, it is easy and super fun when you love what you are doing! Appreciate you watching and the support!
Yet again, another great video. Thanks for sharing! Food looks amazing too!
Thanks for watching and your continued support @joshgal!! 😊
I’ve camped Indian Mound quite a few times.. don’t see too many gators right in that area … my ice cold swims at dawn have always been without incident.
Nice Daniel. That was a big hermit crab! Your meal looked delicious!
Thanks Joe, yea that hermit crab was massive! I first thought it was a sea snail, I’ve seen some big ones before. But blown away that it was a hermit crab!
Delicious!
It sure was! Thanks for watching brother!
The effort you put into your videos is much appreciated.
Just doing what I love to do! I appreciate you watching and for the support @TheCookieman24! 🙏🙏

Hey @mike, That's awesome! I don't think you'll be disappointed. Thanks for watching!
great video!
Hey @maureenwright3979, thanks for the kind words, and thanks for watching!
I like that haley strategic shit. A small group of us from jacksonville is heading up in. A few weeks. Can’t wait to get back in the mountains
Hey @outdoorramblin, yeah I am a big fan of Travis Haley and Haley Strategics. Got a few slings and a flatpack from them. The mountains are a great change of scenario for us Floridians. Gonna go back up there in the summer and camp again. Thanks for watching and thanks for the sub!
@@campingwithchopsticks that’s awesome. I’m also a big Travis Haley fan. I own a FFL/SOt, we socialize in NFA items, high end builds, and nvg. Every year on my kids spring break a group of dads and kids do a week of camping. We’ve done the Ga traverse, FAT, this year we are going back to North Ga. It’s the perfect time to get up there.
Was trying to find the Grill that you use and I can't find one. Any suggestions?
Hey @TheCookieman24, the one I use it not very expensive and not the highest-end portable grill. However I love it and it is very reliable, compact and light. I have used the one I have for at least 4-5 years and dozens of times. It still holds up. Here is the link for the grill. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BB2S6L5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Love the cooking parts of your show.
@TheCookieman24, I really appreciate you watching. I am planning on a catch, clean, and cook video here soon, so stay tuned, all the best!
I like your style. Subbed
@fishin9103, appreciate you watching and appreciate the sub! Tight lines and all the best!

Hey Corey, yes absolutely! We should plan it sometime. Hope all is well brother! Thanks for the support!
I'm a new subscriber. Man you eat like a king out there. I like watching the cooking part of your videos.
Hey @TheCookieman24, first and foremost, appreciate you watching and subscribing! I do enjoy eating good meals while I am out there for sure. Many more great meals to come, hope you continue watching, cheers!
Great video, love watching the inshore fishing, from the FL panhandle 😊
Hey @lizgraves1077, thank you for the kind words and for watching! I love inshore fishing, just wish I caught some fish this trip.😆 Hopefully better luck next time. Thanks again and all the best!
Great video and awesome shot of the 🐬🐬🐬 . Fish lost but that fancy braised beef looks amazing! I grew up in FL but never got to experience this side---- really enjoyed watching this! 😃Please keep posting Camping With Chopsticks!!
Thanks for watching and your continued support @joshggal! The braised beef did come out amazing! Florida is truly a beautiful place and hope you get to experience that it sometime! ☺😉
Hay I live in the area I love going camping on the Indian river lagoon I have a gheenoe
Hey @BlueGheenoe007, Same on this end the lagoon is one of my favorite places to camp. Gheenoe's are awesome, I would get one if I had the room to store it. Thanks for watching and thanks for the support!
The food looked great even if you didn’t catch any fish. Still look like a great time getting out there.
Hey Joe, hope all is well. Thanks for the support as always and for watching. Yes, it was a great time regardless!
Really enjoying your content man, keep it up!
Hey @alabamaadventurer, appreciate it, thanks for the kind words and support! Right back at ya, keep it up and all the best!
I’m thinking about getting that skiff when I get my new suv. Do you have a 6hp on it yet? Is the deck slippery? You are the only person on RUclips that has vids of this skiff as far as I can see. I recently sub’d and enjoy the videos. It would be cool to see a review of the skiff if you haven’t already done one.
Hey @inwheellife533, I appreciate you watching and the support! I did upgrade from the 2 1/2 to the 6hp Suzuki outboard, I wouldn't go with anything else other than a 6hp. The deck is not slippery at all. I only fish on it standing and I feel very stable (I am 6ft and 200lb for reference). I could not recommend this solo skiff enough, I am super happy with it! Good idea on the review of the skiff, I will certainly do one here soon. Thanks again and all the best!
Nice skiff, is this a wet ride like the solo skiff? And how thick is the hull? I’m thinking about purchasing this vessel, thanks in advance
Hey @Markchance08. I was between this one and the SOLO skiff before purchasing. Although I haven't tried the SOLO, my experience with this one has been a very good one. In regards to a wet ride, when the water is calm and winds are below 10mph, I have stayed dry. This week I was on it when the winds were 20mph and I am not going to lie, i was soaked lol! I would reccommend it, especially for the price, it is a great bang for the buck. I have no regrets. Thanks for watching Mark!
Dude this is so cool, nice skiff! I wonder how sturdy and thick that plastic material on it?
Hey @markchance08 It feels very sturdy and thick. I was actually out on it this week and accidentally ran over some oyster beds 😬and it held up just fine, just a few little scratches. I can only speak from my own experience, but I think the BKC skiff is amazing! Thanks Mark and thank you for watching!
I’ve eaten Jack before. Not great but if bleed out well and then soaked in milk overnight and then breaded and fried it was decent. I’ve eaten sailcat too and was pleasantly surprised. Again not great but not terrible. Haven’t tried hardheads yet but Victor at Landshark’s video made me briefly consider it
Hey @alex, I definitely wouldn't go out and target jacks to eat, but it really wasn't too bad. I tried a hardhead on a camping trip because of Victor, and I actually really enjoyed it (He makes everything look tasty!). Breaded and fried it tasted like pretty much any other catfish I've had. Thanks for watching!
I like the looks of that Skiff, I have an adventure channel “Alabama Adventurer” I might need one of those for myself.
Hey Wayne, i am very happy with the skiff and would highly recommend it! Thanks for watching and the support, I will do the same and check out your videos!
