Turn car onto Eco mode. Drive. Turn car off. Turn car on again and drive for hours before realising again that Eco mode is not the default setting and you’ve forgotten that it needs manually selected every time you switch the car on. Let’s hope Ford can get on top of this with a future software update perhaps.
Americans here in the USA would love to have the Focus hatchback with 6 speed manual transmission return to our shores. It's much more practical than the sedan IMO; forget about the sedan. Please Ford, bring us back this near perfect car, much improved from the previous generation!
@@danielleroux6490 I understand your meaning but much people will also wan‘t to see a Focus Sedan and a Hatchback! Hope they will both come back to the american market!
@@Twitch_RoG Thank you for your perspective and well wishes! Much appreciated! I agree, Americans seem to prefer the sedan body style for small compact car purchases instead of a hatchback - I think it's because the sedan is usually cheaper than the comparable hatchback! Also, there aren't many hatches available on the market.
Fellow Americans: Let's all do our part: call or write Ford US Customer Relationship Center and tell them what their American customers want. If we all contact them, maybe they'll realize it's a profitable business decision to bring the Focus 6 spd manual transmission to the US/North American market. Wouldn't hurt to ask for the Fiesta ST and/or the Puma 6 speed manual as well! Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center P.O. Box 6248 Dearborn, MI 48126 Ford U.S. Phone: 1-800-392-3673
@@ZickftZack You got that wrong. PS: Better MPGs & Range and Lower emissions than this car have been around since 2015. Go check out the figures for the 1.5 TDCi. Zero road tax and ULEZ Complaint with 700 miles range.
In America it's a 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty. It seems like the warranty period is too short in your country, and that should not fail so early. hmm... that stinks
Stopping and starting the engine like this is bad for the life of the engine and the battery and the fuel pump & the 3 cylinder ecoboost isn't known for reliability when operating normally. I bet the emissions from the 1.5TDCi Focus (120bhp) from 8 years ago are less than this MHEV Car. The 1.5TDCi has a range of about 700 miles as well as being Zero Road Tax and ULEZ Complaint.

Im thinking with such a small battery and rubber belt driven motor that it would have little effect at improving fuel economy.
Hello Ford why do you not bring for europe the Ford Focus Sedan??

the car comes with 2 years warranty a 2017 ford focus 1.0 ecoboost with only 22.000 kilometers on the clock and the alternator stopped functioning
