Fhev and Mhev is nearly the same on the electric engine. Fhev is 2.5l petrol engine and Mhev is petrol/diesel with different bhp and engine size. Otherwise it is the same car 😊
Super! I am from Ukraine and I have Mondeo Hybrid. In my country We want to see FordPass. And as you know our roads is not so Good. So this momen and climate situathion in winter creats a need AWD in Kuga Hybrid. 20" wheels is so cool!)
@@mindy9567 ordered mine and had to wait 5 months for it to be built and on the day I was supposed to get it I had a call saying they won't let me have it because they put in the wrong paperwork...luckily volkswagen had a new tiguan I bought the next day
You are having an almost 50% tax discount for the hybrid propulsion. In the end you are paying the same, if not even less (depending on your local taxation policy), than for an ICE engine. And the 2.5L engine has its advantages: 1st in lifetime (no turbo) and 2nd in fuel consumption. It's not worth using an electric motor on an engine which is using 10L of fuel / 100km in the city.
@@Truthbomb918 I never said your statement was wrong but diesels in new cars are getting more and more rare, manufacturers are stopping production of diesels. All in all that will make diesels even harder than it is today to resale in the future and because of all that I wouldn't buy a new diesel today.
Could you maybe do a video comparing FHEV, PHEV and MHEV systems in the Kuga?

Ford Europe is the best EU car brand. I would buy this Kuga today
How does the Ford hybrid powertrain works? Is it the same as the Toyota hybrid sytem, with 2 electrical motors/generators?
Very good presented by the presentator!
Pls bring this to Australia. Australia. Is only getting the PHEV escape
Timing belt or chaine plz?
The Ford is based on a Toyota hybrid system so I believe it is a eCVT so it should work similar to their system.
They build such beautiful and cool Cars. I wonder, why they struggle so much in Europe recently...
This drivetrain in the Puma with AWD (forget the ST). That would be cool!
after 3 years any news? still great?
Is this the model that catches alight and is being recalled?
No, that is the PHEV version which is subject to recall and postponement of sales.
This is so nice
They can compete now :D
I can't afford for New Kuga. I'm looking for kuga 2016 with petrol+LPG in Poland 🙃
Is there sync 3rd generation in kuga 2016?
hello, what is the capacity of fuel tank at fhev? is the same as phev, 45 l ?
54 L for the FHEV

Look so good, and it's like the Escape
The same car, different name ;-)
Really nice car but do be aware of current overheating issues of some batteries which ford is trying to resolve.
It is solved according to Ford 👍 new battery packs on all Kuga's and eight years warranty on them after 😉. I'm waiting for the recall for the change 👍
Totally different charging system to the PHEV
Good car ford make best cars
Very interesting. Was looking a audi q5 plug in hybrid. But this seems much better. I dont like the idea of plugging in
So happy that I get mine in 3 days

2.5 engine is too big for EU taxes
Why don't stick with a 2.0 like the Mondeo Hybrid?
Ask Toyota 😅 but yeah, I think they use the same engine on the Mondeo, like on the Honda ch-r 2.0l mild hybrid 😋

Everything you need to know about FORD KUGA is that HYUNDAI TUCSON is far better in almost EVERY aspect!
Especially as you get 50bhp more power from their hybrid! Why is the Ford so weak?

Diesel engine gives better range, power and cheaper
If you haven't noticed diesels are beeing banned more and more in cities, a car you can't use is of no use....
@@andersriksson100 that doesn't make my statement false so does it and FYI not everyone lives in cities and most bans are from city centres
