I’ve owned mine about a month now. I love it. It’s not good on gas but it is a small tank. I built a small table out of the crate material that sits right over the motor. Protects the motor from stray rounds. Plus it serves as extra work space. Awesome video!!

Thanks Roger! Glad you like your machine. I’ve been real happy with it. We’ll see how long that lasts.

good video man. I put those cheap amazon hour meters on my small engines. helps keep track of service intervals etc

I saw that with the mini ex video. Need to do the same thing with this and a bunch more stuff. Thanks for watching

Timely video man! Now I’ll consider this on my search for a splitter. Solid machine.
As for the channel - it’s definitely encouraging to see growth and watching a video you make become a hit. I understand what you’re saying! Keep up the good work.

Thanks for watching. It’s fun to see momentum. I just hit 100,000 all time channel views today which feels like a major milestone in a little over 3 months of posting.

And I thought I was the only guy who hated modern gas cans!!😂
Nice review. I split 5-6 cord a year. Mostly by hand because I enjoy it, but I just traded away an old beat up frankenstein log splitter I put together. Now Im on the market for a new one.

You’re in good company here man. The modern cans are such an over complicated solution to a simple problem.
I do the same amount per year give or take. I’ve been happy with this champion but it’s nothing special, there’s a lot of good options out there. Thanks for watching!

Does the engine on these not have a throttle to speed it up from idle to fast?runs at one speed?

    I have a fiskars splitting axe. 🪓
Would love to have a hydraulic splitter someday.

I’ve got a few of those fiskars splitting axes. They are the best splitting axes I’ve ever used, but the hydraulic splitter makes a big difference in making a lot of wood
