Personally i dont enjoy the game trope of collecting objects to unlock a power, which turns out to be the root of all evil or something, because that means the ultimate villain is just some guy you met just now. Which does apply to the shadow queen.
Super Paper Mario is criminally underrated. The characters are all memorable, each world is very stylized and unique, and while it's not an RPG like TTYD I think it being an action platformer benefits it more for its exploration of areas. Seriously, if I had to stop every minute to stomp each Goomba and Squoink I think it would've been much more tedious
@LollinoDamb64 coloursplash was cool from my old childhood memories but honestly I just remembered getting stuck cooking a pizza for like a century, as my TV I played it on had a second delay, so putting the dough in was a horrible timing experience.
i’m the minority that actually enjoys color splash despite understanding its problems game’s just really enjoyable and huey is best travel companion don’t at me
*OBJECTION!* There were quite a few moments in the game that were rather memorable for me. The Princess chase The giant coin The circus The voyage to fortune island The burger for the Draggadon EVERYTHING involving the Sunset Express The list goes on...
@@P1necone88 I can see that with the need to end with Sticker Star. The only natural way to bring it up I could think of would be reference Sticker Star as the worst, and that's not a good way as it's tangential at best.
All but literally yes. Sticker Star clear the worst Paper Mario hurdle with ease. Even Color Splash looks down on it with a better story and slightly improved gameplay.
The games were made by a company that notoriously hated RPGs. The first two paper mario games were great, but also a fluke. Super Paper mario was cool and beat FF16 to the punch. The gimmick wasn't explored completely. Should be reused in another game. Hey, how would they even remake Super Paper Mario?
I mean Mario 3D All Stars made Galaxy work on Joy-Cons, surely the conversion wouldn't be too difficult (though realistically they'd probably just have a button that activates a cursor you move with the stick)
Super Smash Bros debate out now: ruclips.net/video/Teuaun4kWsY/видео.html&ab_channel=P1necone (This one actually is made by me)

I knew the judge was gonna say sticker star 💀

In gameplay: TTYD
In story: SPM
In creativity: Origami King
For me, TTYD is the best in general but my favorite is SPM
In humour: Color Splash

I just realized origami king and tears of the kingdom have the same abbreviation. Anyway Paper Mario 64 clears
actually tears of the kingdom is totk while origami king is tok
Pearl: "Umm, Mystic Maya got me Paper Jam for my birthday... I thought it was fun. Does that count?"
That’s more of a Mario and Luigi game than a paper mario game.
Ermmmm TECHNICALLY it's a Mario and Luigi game. With Paper Mario in it. Besides, Paper Jam is pretty bad, so Pearl's opinion is invalid.
love grossberg's all lowercase 'aw man'
i’m the minority that actually enjoys color splash despite understanding its problems
game’s just really enjoyable and huey is best travel companion don’t at me
I mean it DOES have actual level design
@@interguy5846 true that
some REALLY memorable ones too
like the trainworks level
not something that can be said about ttyd’s level design
steak battle my beloved
@@P-Down_D-Up_P WE LOVE STEAK BATTLE
I sure do love TTYD's level design- correction: straight hallways
Color splash is the goat
In fact, he WAS the only one
I’ve only played Sticker Star, and honestly, didn’t have that fun of a time playing it
Unpopular opinion: color splash is my fav mario game of all time
The real message of this video is that Color Splash is very forgettable.
*OBJECTION!*

My friend said that he wanted to have Mia defend Color Splash, but couldn't figure out how to fit it into the story.

PHOENIX, MY MAN
Super paper Mario has great lore but TTYD is the best
This seems like a bad time but I like color splash
I support miles all the way ttyd is peak

Nah I like Sticker Star too judge, don't feel bad.
L phoenix and megabased franziska
what do you mean i found someone with basically the same username as me?
I unironically agree with the judge
TTYD is the correct answer.
PM64 is a valid answer.
Super Paper Mario is cool.
I would say all three of those are valid answers. Anything else is wrong.
Colour splash sweeps@@TrixyTrixter
Sticker Star is great and you guys are unfun purists.
Color Splash was awful, though.
PM2 then PM1 the rest is trash. Super PM is alright but not a turn base
