I'll hand it to you, you correctly observed and assumed that Godot has some sort of caffeine addiction with how often he drinks coffee during trials.
However, think back to his debut episode in Trials and Tribulations: The Stolen Turnabout
After Detective Gumshoe explains the case involving the stolen urn in his testimony, Godot and the Judge have this interaction:
