I'd say get a main board for it if you can, these actual models have outstanding performance, picture quality is amazing on these, i know not 4k, but at 1080 and standard definition 580 they blow away these later sets that are around now and the lcd panel and the edge lit backlight in them seem to be very reliable from what ive seen in the past, usually main board problems and sometimes the odd psu fault which usually can be fixed to component level, im employed in the trade, may have a main board for one of these in my parts if i come across one i'll let you have it, just discovered your channel and enjoying it, so i will suscribe
Hi I have a samsung UE40H5303AKXXU tv and it has sound but no picture I did the checks But no joy I took the back off and found that the back lights not working at all wound it be the power board Dave
Worth nothing if you throw it so fix it as you can recover the cost of the board if you can make ebay seller a offer less than £40 and maybe a small profit in it for yourself
I say fix it, these older LCD sets are far superior to the junk that is sold today.
Definitely fix it, I have several tv's that I fixed instead I of binning them.
Keep and fix, You can buy a nand for this model I will have a look to see if I have a board for it 😊

You could attempt to reset the motherboard BIOS, which might resolve the issue.
Why don't you flash the memory

Standard issue on this model is the nand corruption.Freezing spray to the rescue,otherwise they sell preprogrammed nands for this model.
