Tip for Forge players: Since Red Shulker Boxes cannot be placed on framed trapdoors or copycat pannels, use nether wart blocks in replacement.

I would use either red quilted wool or red steel plating from Dave’s building extended for the best substitute

For people using Copycat panels- You can't use a chute on them, but you can use industrial iron blocks, which look identical!
Also, Red Terracotta looks similar enough to the red shulker box texture, I've found.

A small tip though: Create 5.1 contains a "Copycat Block" which does exactly the same as the framed panel.

So, I haven't seen anyone use this technique and I might have discovered and incredible ability: world edit plus the create mod. I downloaded multiple schematics for really good train builds (mainly from DreamWanderer if I'm giving credit here, epic builds from that guy), loaded them into a superflat with worledit, placed the train casing under it, added a few things like lanterns and seats. Glued the whole thing together and boom!: I have 2 full steam engines. A PRR 520, and a Flying Scotsman. I'm really surprised everyone keeps trying to make stuff native to create mod to build their trains. Just build a regular train and place the casing under it. I really wish I could show a video of it cause it is honestly super super cool

Lovely looking train, personally I’m not big on the 0-2-4 wheelbase on such a long frame though, making longer wheelbase locos is possible, it just requires you to glue the thing in the right sort of way, aside from that, keep it up!
I initially wanted to make it a 4-6-2 with extended bogeys addon but I just couldn't get it to work but I would love to do that and thank you btw 😊
@@MadenPlay I just use the bogies from the base addon, along with steam & rails, a 4-6-2 config requires 5 bogies and it’s kinda like assembling multiple wagons, I normally glue the first two bogies together (a 2 axle and a 1 axle), leaving no blocks attached besides the ones that hold them together, the next two bogies (both 1 axle bogies, the large driving wheels) are glued together too, which you glue to the locomotive’s body, last bogie can sit freely, I could likely knock together a design based on the one you’ve made, but with a 4-6-2 config if you like

I have a question what version your using and i keep getting crashes when i place a framed panel using the open simple frames mod

Do all these blocks (apart from the chimney) serve a purpose or are they just decorative? Can they be swaped out for something else?
You only need two bogies, train control, and glues to make the train functional. The rest is just decorative, that is what charming about create mod

I wonder if this train could become eventually a armored train of the first world war (i mean literally its a train so i think it would have enough power to be modified and equipped with guns like in ww1 they did)
I always imagine this train to be like a late 19th century, so it's a possibility

Create doesn't allow more than two bogies in one glue so you have to glue the locomotive, tender, and carriages separately.
I did show how to do it in other tutorials, do apologize I forgot to include it in this one.

@@captainskulldemake sure you have the later version though, with that they have individual smokestack blocks. If that is not the case then I recommend you should ask in the steam 'n' rails community discord

You have to glue the train properly, make sure to glue each carriage also locomotive and tender separately
Doing that, each time you glue you shouldn't have more than 2 bogies attached.
I did show how to glue the train in other tutorials, I do apologize I forgot to show it in this one 🙏

Also you can use the Framed block mod instead of Open simple frames or copy cat panels!
They are not available for fabric and this is way before create has a copycat which is what I use nowadays

the only thing i can't understand is how do i glue it? because if i glue it all together i can't its too big and if i glue them separately some classes don't move so they remain unattached
Normally with train you would glue each carriage separately, like all individual car. That also mean locomotive and tender separately, that's what I did.

do u need to super glue everything down on forge?
It's the same thing regardless the mod loader. for the create mod train to work you need to glue the train.
I have an example for how to do it in other tutorial, it is the same principle

Oh the smoke? Yes, that's from create: steam 'n' rails addon, make sure you have the 1.19 version or higher for the same effect

In create mod if you glue any train as a whole that has more than two bogeys in it, it will not work.

How does the smoke stack work exactly?
You can use a smokestacks from steam 'n' rails addon so it will have a smoke effect coming out. Do apologize that I didn't included this in the video

Make sure that you glue each car separately, that includes locomotive, tender, & cars. Don’t glue the whole thing in one go. Create mod doesn't allow more than 2 bogies on each car

I've seen my train design on your video mate and that's the whole point of me sharing the tutorial, everyone can build my design, replicate it and having fun in their own private world even making videos about it as long as they don't steal it and reshare the download of it because that is extremely unfair to everyone that actually paid and support me and the channel

Yes, someone has already pointed this out. I use open framed blocks mod, it is an alternative for framed blocks for fabric because I have a problem running forge.

Apparently I didn't realise framed blocks for forge doesn't allow entity blocks to be use as a texture like the fabric mod. There isn't a fix for this at the moment so we just have to do with the bare red concrete for now I am truly sorry
I had duplicate coaches when I play and you can't hear the whistle from the locomotive sitting in the far back so I tried added another one :|
just builded tihs just to see that my glue didnt glue all right and i have to build it all over again
With create mod trains, you should glue each carriage with no more than two bogies separately, make sure that the glue does not intersect then it should be alright.
