Java is neither 2D nor 3D. It's a compiled* object-oriented language. Minecraft uses lwjgl, which provides native bindings to OpenGL, a 3D rendering API. Scratch is both a language and a development environment for 2D game programming. * Java can be considered both a compiled and an interpreted language. It compiles to Java Bytecode which can in turn be run on a Java Virtual Machine.
@@BracketGuySerious What I mean by that is that the window created when you make a game in Java is 2D (because it's on a computer screen) and that it takes library and/or math to make things appear 3D
Cool anyway here's a brownie recipe INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and HOT 1 tablespoon cooking oil, (olive oil or coconut oil are fine) 1 1/8 cup superfine sugar, (caster sugar or white granulated sugar)* 2 large eggs 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1/2 cup all purpose (or plain) flour 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon salt INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking oil spray. Line with parchment paper (or baking paper); set aside. Combine hot melted butter, oil and sugar together in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk well for about a minute. Add the eggs and vanilla; beat until lighter in colour (another minute). Sift in flour, cocoa powder and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until JUST combined (do NOT over beat as doing so well affect the texture of your brownies). Pour batter into prepared pan, smoothing the top out evenly. (OPTIONAL: Top with chocolate chunks or chocolate chips.) Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the centre of the brownies in the pan no longer jiggles and is just set to the touch (the brownies will keep baking in the hot pan out of the oven). If testing with a toothpick, the toothpick should come out dirty for fudge-textured brownies.
I made a 3d vortex by accident once by putting circles on circles and repeat and if you zoom in it turns into a 3D time vortex and I put the words doctor who at the end
There are 2 types of 3D scratch games: Ones that are just slideshows or squares that get larger the more you walk forward, or the ones with ray casting
Nice game, but i am just gonna correct this for people who don't know: This isn't 3D it's pseudo-3D, for a game to be 3d it must have variance in all 3 axis and have a vertex projection. 3D raycasters are also pseudo 3d games for just being a 2d game projected on a 1d perspective with 2d depth added
"Scratch is 2D so how are you going to make a 3D game", well, technically, Java is 2D, and somehow Minecraft.
No game on a screen is technically 3d.

3D means three-dimensional, i.e. something that has width, height and depth (length). This game has all 3, therefore, it is 3D.

This is just a 2d game it looks 3d
@Quartzite256 that's pretty much all games retard

amazing, and you can also create subway surfers, only no boosts! (Unless you add them) Amazing!!!
The mast is a really good example of 3d since it loads obj files and stuff
I like how he made it as hard as possible to code
I’m literally 30 minutes into my first scratch experience and this showed up lol, hopefully I can do stuff like this in the future
It's really not that complicated, it's not even 3D! You can go onto wikipedia and see rotation matrices and how to plot 3D points onto a 2D plane.
You think that hard your not ready then
Please make wire frames and not this 💀
I love the part when he made it 3D at 8:00 it was sooo cool!

I am actually curious if this is counted as 3d or 2.5d
Unfortunately yes because it is flat. He didn't add a 3D engine. But it blends in like 3D.

There are 2 types of 3D scratch games:

the first 3d scratch game came out in 2016 (as far as i know) and he said in 2024 that there is not 3d games on scratch
