At 2:25 Marley starts a prayer for all the starvation in the so-called "Third World!" It's so tragic that only 17 thousand have listened. Even those that are hearing it don't really listen and get it. Amazing, people think all he was about was getting high. From 2:25, Marley is saying a prayer to God to ease the suffering!!! This is a really spiritual song! Great!

Even though my dabble into reggae was brief I would still place the Bob Marley Live album among my all-time favourites. The live version of No Woman, No Cry is amazing. We can only imagine what music he woyld have made had he lived longer.

It's 2023, and this song is becoming more and more relevant.
I always thought that this was spiritually, ethically, and morally Marley's best song. This is about starvation in (what was then called) the third world. "Them belly full, but we hungry!" This is still relevant today.This is a far cry from Black artist here in the United States today that just sing about "Pussy!" I don't mean to be vulgar! However, vulgarity is necessary sometimes to make a point.From 2:38 until 3:52 ,it is really a prayer to God to end the suffering in the so-called third world. However, most people just get into the groove and never really appreciate the message
I agree. I'll never understand why people write off bob marley's music as stoners music. All his songs are about fighting against oppression and standing up for ones rights.
