this series looks promising. I tried to go nomad for some time a while back, and I found llamas to be one of the most important resources, each llama has a different cargo capacity, but if you breed them enough, you can get a herd of llamas with 15 slots each. With one lead you can lead 10 llamas, and there’s no limit to how many leads you can use. So I ended up going around with a herd of about 100 llamas and practically unlimited cargo capacity (works specially well in flat biomes, I used it in the tundra, but if you want to cross a forest you sometimes have to burn it down first). For early game mules and donkeys are also very useful wince they add an extra inventory and you can even bring a couple or three with you with different leads (good alternative to the llama herd is a horse and a few mules or donkeys, which is easier to move through forests). Also the new camel is pretty neat (husks chase you but they can’t reach you so you can make a herd and lead it villages 🤫)
Keeping the videos to 20 minutes adds to that old feel of Minecraft when youtube limited the length more, but for sure makes it easier to pick up and watch, especially when more of the series is already done and someone wants to binge watch, even a little at a time.
I used to love watching Minecraft videos first thing after coming home from school back in 2012, funny that today I’m a homeroom teacher to kids that are the same age as me back then. Happy I found your videos to come home to from work!❤️
You're so lucky with this seed that you didn't choose to add the Frostiful mod. It's made me stressed at just the sight of a snowy biome. Fortunately, your video is very relaxing.
I love how relaxing your videos are, these days most minecraft videos feel like they stress me out more than i enjoy them. I hope you will make many more videos like this, i love the vibe
Came straight from the last video. you have no idea how long I've been searching for someone who plays Minecraft in this way. enjoyable, relaxing and beautiful. so glad I've discovered it
Another person you might enjoy is About Oliver, he played Minecraft blind on stream with no spoilers or tips from chat and I thought it was pretty relaxing and chill. He’s really funny too and multilingual so sometimes he’ll randomly start speaking German or Dutch lol
It's nice to find some more chill minecraft videos like this, sometimes it feels like every video has to be a grand thing. Those are good too, but they feel like a bit too much at times. I just started playing again after years. The learning curve wasn't too bad since I knew what to expect. I play in survival.
So glad RUclips recommended me the first video! What a hidden gem this channel, I constantly feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of videos on Minecraft, RUclipsrs taking in the most utterly unbelievable challenges ever, showcasing these wild mods, and while i thoroughly enjoy those, I don't feel a connection to them. Minecraft is all about the experience and how I get to my goals, about the journey, about the backstories i make for my worlds and villages, the names I give each villager... And I can relate to this play style. It's cozy, wholesome, and very satisfying! Cannot wait to see more from your channel! Wishing you the best of luck! :)
Learning to play Minecraft how I enjoy and not how other people think I should play has been instrumental in me enjoying the game again! Loving this series man, keep it up 😊
Amazing video ! The best part about your videos is how you take things slow, appreciate the little details and actually explore the world instead of just speedrunning max gear or setting up outlandish farms Keep up the good work bro 👍
Looking forward to future videos! You could easily become my favourite Minecraft youtuber, man. Love the chill, slow-paced gameplay 'nd vibes. A far cry from most creators dominating the scene (whose content tends to be a bit... loud).
I’m so happy to see you playing this way and having so many people interested in it! This is similar to how I play in my personal life and its so heartwarming to see so many other people admire it and engage with it :)
I really like your approach to the game! It is really calming and your admiration for the beautiful landscape and the small things you find is very touching. I am glad RUclips recommended the first video to so many people, you have created something really great!
I've thoroughly enjoyed both of your videos while working - I love the nomadic style and enough commentary for me to listen along if I need to walk away for a minute. The mods/scenery are gorgeous. I'm getting lots of ideas as a new survival player myself. Subscribed!
Hey man, I saw your first video in this series, and it looked so much fun, it gave me an idea! While I can't play Minecraft as much, (makes me motionsick) I found a tent mod on Conan Exiles (my current favorite survival crafter) and am doing the Nomad thing there. One core base at the moment with a collection of crafting benches, but no permanent structures otherwise. Just a few camps, (fire pits to cook in, a bonfire to help me find the spot again) and the odd occasional waystation for myself. It's so much fun!
To answer your question: 10:26 Yes, I *would* enjoy longer videos! I’m already super glad with this one. It is such a calm and adventurous vibe, so nice to slow down a busy week of work and school. Thank you! 24:10 ok sorry but, I laughed so hard at the fact you died of *fall damage* after running off a hill… AMD the music suddenly stopped, and the sound of the crickets.. Yes, hilarious! Still sad you died though! I was so glad you had a bed nearby! I was afraid you had to start all over again! 29:22 this looks so cool! Love it I really liked the long form video on this one. I split it in two parts: before work and after work. The after work part made for a nice evening! I really enjoyed it. But also, i funderstamd if you will make shorter videos in the furture. :) I will be looking forward to your *next* video!
Haha thank you so much for your kind comment! :) Yeah it seems like the videos will tend to be on the longer side in the future. Not sure if I‘ll do single episodes that are longer than an hour. Let’s see haha.
26:55 Usually I play survival in multiplayer with some of my internet friends. But I don't really like to achieve something big like creating diamond armor or killing the Dragon, but I love to build homes, roads, stores, forests, etc to make our server comfortable and feeling alive.
Man 40 + minutes felt like 20 I could watch your videos for hours i swear it makes me happy especially the background music u use is very upbringing. I watched your first episode and subscribed 🩵
Dude, I loved this as a longer video, it could be even longer if you feel like it. It was really nice to have a chill interesting Minecraft adventure to watch while playing. Thanks for making these! :D
You've got great vibes. I dont usually like a lot of Minecraft videos because they make me feel rushed even though I'm not the one playing, but I enjoyed both of your videos.
I don't really have much to say, but your videos are really great so far and I want to boost the algorithm! The new dog you found is incredibly adorable I was so excited when you tamed it
You’ve given me a idea to play my next world as a complete nomad with the goal of reaching the world border maybe only building small camps at a time so I can truly see what Minecraft has to offer
Dude my school holidays just started and your channel is the best for relaxing and just enjoying it’s so peaceful and easy on the eyes and surreal in Minecraft I can’t wait for more
I really enjoyed the long format and the emotions it gives, it's really pure and simple, i'm playing my flute in front of the video contemplating you play
10:32 i think 20-25 mins an episode could be cool and then at the end of the series you could compile it into a movie type thing :3 but your videos are awesome!! im happy they came up in my suggested !!! 🥳
The scenery is lovely! Can't wait to see more of your adventures in this world :) Looking forward to it. In terms of video length, I think 25-30 mins is okay, especially since your videos must take quite a while to edit (they look very professional) but whatever makes you comfortable and doesn't make you feel you are pushing yourself too hard for the sake of the content. What makes it magical is YOU wanting to play ✨
I feel like what makes your 1st video such a success is how they are unscripted (I think) and every part of the process is shown, unlike how some people do tons of timelapses and off camera stuff. The composition is also very good because there's a professional feel, and you don't drag one thing too long (like a minute long intro of just talking and no playing).
I love this. I started playing minecraft about a yr ago on my phone and thoroughly enjoyed just exploring the world. Id mine a bit and farm a bit but the maps really grabbed my attention. Been opening up and exploring but staying in the same spot and trying to branch out. Been thinking about just making one and traveling the world just like this. Setup small.campsites all around. Im not worried about the nether and the dragon. Got yourself a subscriber. I say run this, see where it goes. If you feel like droping a 10 min vid, do it. Drop a 2 hr if you got it. Just do what you enjoy and youll be alright.
Honestly, I prefer longer videos on Minecraft so this one was perfect. Also loooooved both your videos, like, so much!!!!! I love your way of thinking and playing :)
22:52 Remember you can heal an iron golem by right clicking (maybe it’s shift-clicking?) them with an iron ingot. Iron is a limited resource for you, but so are helpful allies in tricky battles, so healing them when things get tough can be good to keep in mind! Another thing that would be an interesting element to consider in the rules of your gameplay is to ‘learn’ skills from the villagers you meet. Maybe when you reach a point where you want to vary the gameplay a little (and still stick to your exploration and lack of mining) is to branch out into some of the skills that real nomadic civilisations mastered through time. As collecting wood, domestication of animals and hunting where up there with foraging and trading in terms of skills, and it can give you more inspiration for how you might play into more of the gameplay elements that can enhance exploration. ‘Learning’ skills from villages. Like one skill per village, and there has to be that kind of villager to talk to and ‘learn’ from. A fletcher to make bows and arrows. A Butcher telling you how to hunt animals for food. A farmer teaching you how to cook more food and grow crops with bonemeal. A Leather worker who teaches you about bundles and using the leather gathered from hunting to make armour. A cartographer teaching you how to make a compass or something to do with your map mods. Upgrading and crafting armour and metal tools (wearing and looting armour and tools elsewhere of course) but only crafting leather armour and wooden and stone tools out in the wilderness (once you’ve ‘learned’ those skills) and reserving making iron, gold, diamond etc armour and tools when you arrive at a village with a blacksmith and/or weapon smith and armourer to help you make it (like requiring there be a villager you meet and then after that there must be a blacksmith building in order to forge your weapons and armour). Play however you want, these are just ideas for new challenges that open up more variety of game mechanics to explore without compromising on your goals and focus of the kind of gameplay that interests you. New opportunities but with new challenges. Hence the only learning one ‘skill’ per village and there having to be the right villager there to teach you. Being able to craft more things allows you take take advantage of trading and finding the right people to trade things you find in the world for emeralds so you can buy from wandering traders or food from farmers in villages and things like that. And a rules that for every tree you cut down, two must be replanted. If that’s an idea that appeals to you so you don’t feel like resource gathering becomes too much of a focus and instead it makes it more important in the ways you interact with the natural environment. You should do whatever you feel is fun to play, and that’s what we’ll all enjoy watching: because YOU like doing it. You don’t have to try any of my suggestions, but I wanted to contribute them in case any of it inspires you or someone else. We’ll be watching anyway :) this series is really fun. Play Minecraft in whatever way sounds as interesting and exciting to you.
I know I don't really have a right to ask for anything outside of your normal content yet but I think using these Vanilla+ mods to discover cool maps. I'm thinking a cool castle map that might be abandoned or a lost city. This could go with the Nomad lifestyle without building crazy structures but still have to option to explore these things. Of course, I could do all this myself since you provided the mods and texture packs but I suppose the fun of RUclips is that you are able to live vicariously through the video. Whatever you decide to do, I did subscribe so I will see it when you post more videos!
@@novenzahn Eagerly waiting for the 4th episode Hope you'd not burnout and disappear like others 🥲 I really liked your content and want you to become big RUclipsr so that I can flex a little by saying *I was there from the beginning*
Haha, I try my best to keep it at a healthy pace rn, even though it might result in lower frequency. So let's see how it goes. Episode 4 is out now btw, if you haven't seen it yet! :)
Long videos are lovely to watch while Im working. Minecraft sounds are very relaxing to me. I play on my tablet and I can’t use all the fun mods you have so Kim enjoying them vicariously. Take care and please keep making videos. 😊
Hell ya! I've been excited for you to upload again. No worries about how long it takes to upload. I know some people have jobs and life in general and minecraft videos take a long time to make sometimes 😊
that's so cool!! This video gave me an ideia for my next Minecraft world. I usually look for resources and build a base when I start the game, but i think it's much more fun to explore and just live like this, a real nomad 😄
1) I would be so happy to join a discord server! 2) This video is so relaxing. I love the way you play minecraft so much! It's inspiring me to play more and take it slow. I've stopped playing minecraft because I've always felt like I needed to make crazy farms and just speedrun the whole game-- but playing it like this is so much better for me. 3) If you made a modpack with the mods you use I would 100% download it. The world is so pretty! For now i'll download them manually lol
Awesome! Glad that you can relate with my approach haha. Had the same experience before that you’re describing. Yeah, maybe I’ll create a modpack eventually :)
I love how chill this gameplay is! usually minecraft creators are loud, which i do like but sometimes i want to have something more relaxing to watch, and this definitely is a relaxing series :) also if you were to make a discord server i would definitely join
Nice! A longer video. I think 45ish minutes hits the sweet spot for episodes. I loved the first one, and when I saw it was a new account, I got excited for a longer term series that I can keep up with. Looking forward to it. If I might suggest an amendment to your rules: probably every nomadic tribe that exists hunts as well. You could add that into your quest for some quality of life improvement. I already enjoy the limitations of mining, but the flexibility on scavenging wood from a shipwreck and with the portal. Also, consider campfires! No nomad is complete without one. Love the shaders and mods you have. I may add them to my games to enhance my vanilla experience. Did the dog go away? :(
I always forget about campfires haha. Yeah, maybe hunting comes in sooner or later. Well I kinda lost my first dog but the one in this episode sits in the tent safely, don’t worry haha :)
I'm really enjoying your content so far! To answer your question about how I play minecraft: I love exploring, so I don't usually build a base in one place. I tend to make little waypoints along my journey with helpful items in them for when I inevitably die and have to start over. I hate mining and going to the nether, so I have never beaten the ender dragon, and I frankly don't want to. Minecraft for me is meant to be chill, a stress reliever, not a stress inducer lol. Another minecraft youtuber that I've been enjoying recently is ItsMarloe, who is doing a really relaxing minecraft series where he just explores and speaks calmly, kind of like what you're doing, but without mods. I really like that you're using mods though! I don't often see youtubers using the mods that you have. Keep up the great work! Can't wait for the next video! 😁
Diamonds in a village chest must be super rare. I've never seen that before! When you passed the donkeys I wondered if you might want to tame one, or maybe breed a mule, and use it to carry some of your things. You still have the horse armor after all!
Antique atlas is one of my favorite map mods. The common ones used in a lot of modpacks always felt a bit cheaty. I'd like to recommend you check out the presence footsteps mod (footsteps sound more accurate to the block you're standing on) and sound physics (sounds in big empty rooms/caves have some reverb) both are great for immersion. Looking forward to the next vid!
This is so cool, maybe while you're exploring you can do some "challenge" with the stuff around you. Or maybe build some little statue all over the world. Keep going man!
I play on Survival Peaceful on the Bedrock Mobile version, no mods or packs. I like that you're sort of vibing and fun without all that obnoxious stuff a lot of bigger youtubers do. At some point I'll get Bedrock on the computer so I can host a rpg story for friends. Also I've been thinking of making videos of no talking just adventure and building.
i've loved your videos so far, its giving me ideas for my own future playthroughs since i also tend to gravitate towards your playstyle. if you're worried about your dog's health, you can feed him pieces of raw meat (including rotten flesh!) to heal him, and armadillos in the savannah can drop their scales naturally which can be used make dog armor :D
I personally like Minecraft play through videos that are 20 minutes or longer. It just feels rushed if it’s any shorter, but it makes sense for Minecraft videos that are not play through like tutorials and stuff like that
I've been busy this past week, and i've saved this video (for two days) and i'm finally gonna watch it!!! but first imma get myself clean and cosy before watching it!!! WOOO
This is probably one of my new favorite Minecraft channels. I love how relaxing and calm you are and how you integrate it into your gameplay. I'm just curious, but if I can ask, why do you not chop down trees?
Thank you so much, glad you like my videos :) Well, I kinda missed explaining the rules of this series in this episode. If you check the video from today or my first video I explain them in the intros haha
I’ve been playing Minecraft since PE was released. Playing on a PC makes me nauseous for some stupid reason. I’ve only ever played vanilla and would love to play with others like me (adult and serious cooperative players/builders) but it’s really difficult to find Bedrock players that aren’t kids who want to grief people. 😂 Really enjoying seeing you discover things here. My favorite thing to watch is people who are learning and exploring MC. Take care.
Edit: *episode 3 out now!* :)

You should try Vintage Story out if you want a game that is about really taking your time to enjoy.

20 to 30 minutes is my sweet spot for video length. Long enough to get invested, short enough to watch between tasks.

Thanks for your comment! :)
i feel like an occasional really long video would be cool like an hour btw i love the videos theyre super serene and calming
Thanks! :)
This man is going like a rocket on RUclips
Haha would be incredible
Thanks for the sub!! :)
Thanks for the mods list. I remember the day I explored Minecraft for the first time. It's nice to see someone playing it in an artistic way. 🎉
Glad you liked it!
I personally want videos to be longer than 40 minutes. i can split my viewings across multiple days!
Haha doing the same when I’m watching something longer sometimes
Honestly, I prefer longer videos on Minecraft so this one was perfect. Also loooooved both your videos, like, so much!!!!! I love your way of thinking and playing :)
Glad you enjoyed them!! :)
Thank you so much for all the ideas and tips! Gonna think about all of it and see what might be fun!
commenting for the algorithm so more people can see it keep up the good work man
Awesome thank you!
I like the idea! Might be something to consider :)
I think i found my new favorite Minecraft RUclipsr ❤️
Hope you will continue uploading quality content every month 🙏💞
Haha awesome! Yeah, I aim for 1-2 videos per month right now :)
@@novenzahn Eagerly waiting for the 4th episode
Hope you'd not burnout and disappear like others 🥲
I really liked your content and want you to become big RUclipsr so that I can flex a little by saying *I was there from the beginning*
Haha, I try my best to keep it at a healthy pace rn, even though it might result in lower frequency. So let's see how it goes. Episode 4 is out now btw, if you haven't seen it yet! :)
@@novenzahn Of course, I will when I get home from work 🤗
bro's editing skill and minecraft video idea is topnotch!!
Thanks :)
Long videos are lovely to watch while Im working. Minecraft sounds are very relaxing to me. I play on my tablet and I can’t use all the fun mods you have so Kim enjoying them vicariously. Take care and please keep making videos. 😊
More to come soon! Glad you enjoyed the vid :)
Hell ya! I've been excited for you to upload again. No worries about how long it takes to upload. I know some people have jobs and life in general and minecraft videos take a long time to make sometimes 😊
I appreciate it! :)
that's so cool!! This video gave me an ideia for my next Minecraft world. I usually look for resources and build a base when I start the game, but i think it's much more fun to explore and just live like this, a real nomad 😄
Can only recommend, especially when you’re not enabling large biomes for whatever reason haha
You could look into adding a tent mod. It would make it really immersive. Anyways great video!
Yeah that’s true! Maybe interesting for one of the next run-throughs
I like how you reply to every comment its really nice even though you dont have to.
Of course! I’m happy people are so kind in the comments. Would be a crime not to respond haha
These videos are so relaxing , so glad I found your channel.😊
Thanks!! :)
Glad you're enjoying the series, that's the vibe I was aiming for! :)
I like how calming your videos are 😌
Thanks! :)
Love the long videos, so relaxing to watch
Awesome! :)
@novenzahn very cool, I missed the dog sitting. Looking forward to the next episode
Thanks for your kind reply! :)
Interesting way to play, thanks for sharing. The nether being a stress inducer is quite relatable haha
@ I'm scared for when you go to the nether 😆😭 does the bigger biomes mod apply there too?
Oohhhh no, didn’t even think about that yet. But probably right?
@@novenzahn uh oh 😆 good luck finding a stronghold! With your luck one will pop right up
Diamonds in a village chest must be super rare. I've never seen that before!
When you passed the donkeys I wondered if you might want to tame one, or maybe breed a mule, and use it to carry some of your things. You still have the horse armor after all!
bro actually replied to every comment, respect.
Haha of course! :)
Yeah felt the same about most of the other map mods out there. Thanks for the recommendations btw!
I really love this style of play and thanks for sharing your mods! I definitely need the better bundles mod haha!
Yeah that mod is awesome haha
Great video, I like your voice! You set a nice, relaxed atmosphere
Thanks!! :)
This is so cool, maybe while you're exploring you can do some "challenge" with the stuff around you. Or maybe build some little statue all over the world. Keep going man!
Cool ideas, thank you! :)
Beautiful and great video!!:D such eye candy with all the mod you use!!!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Your videos feel like asmr hands down ❤
haha, glad you liked it!
Ohhh thanks for the tips! Didn’t know about the armor!
22:12 it never occurred to me that freeing the iron golem would help, i usually die multiple times to establish dominance first
HAHAH same
Just found ur channel and its so comforting and relaxing, I'm a new sub now
Welcome and thanks for subbing! :)
amazing video! Love the exploring, it's very relaxing
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I personally like Minecraft play through videos that are 20 minutes or longer. It just feels rushed if it’s any shorter, but it makes sense for Minecraft videos that are not play through like tutorials and stuff like that
Thanks for your opinion! I personally feel the same as a viewer. Love videos that are longer than 20 min. :)
Wow! So beautiful and relaxing! Keep up the good work. :)
Appreciate it! :)
Your videos are very nice dude I really like this format
Great job!!!
Glad you like them!
Love the series man keep up the good work
Appreciate it! :))
Ended on a cliffhanger, awesome LOL!
Had to keep it interesting haha
@@novenzahn It worked. Nice timing with the end!
I've been busy this past week, and i've saved this video (for two days) and i'm finally gonna watch it!!! but first imma get myself clean and cosy before watching it!!! WOOO
Let’s go, hope you gonna like it!! :)
@ yess i am sure i will :)
Got the flowstate music going on I love it I hope your time on RUclips goes great I’ll be here through it 🙂↕️
Haha thank you so much!
thanks to you i decided to do this challenge too with a couple of rules i added and changed just to make it a bit easier for me but i LOVE it!
Fantastic!
Found the best vid to watch through my dinner 😭😭😭
Haha awesome!
@novenzahn but BE AWARE! A server needs quite a bit of moderation and maintenance..
If not some weidos spam it with porn and stuff (T - T)
Yeah that’s true sadly
This is probably one of my new favorite Minecraft channels. I love how relaxing and calm you are and how you integrate it into your gameplay. I'm just curious, but if I can ask, why do you not chop down trees?
Thank you so much, glad you like my videos :)
Well, I kinda missed explaining the rules of this series in this episode. If you check the video from today or my first video I explain them in the intros haha
What a diamond the channel is!
P.S. I think that 20-30 min video length is optimal
Thanks!! :)
yay
Enjoy! Hope you’ll like it! :)
Take care.
Haha, yeah, the Bedrock community does seem to be a bit younger than Java.
I’m glad you liked it!
New subscriber and amazing just love the editing and your voice is perfect for this
Thanks!! :)
My mans is reaching 150k views on his first video and cookin it. Good luck brother!
Thank you so much!!
