All the districts I mentioned in the previous comment are peaceful and safe for tourists and moreover you can find ancient churches in shubra and historical buildings and people will never try to harm you. In fact these are areas are sometimes safer than the areas in this video and traffic is much better and relaxing and streets aren't crowded like the downtown and ramses and they are full of life and joy, and if you went to nasr city you will find it a mix between zamalek and ramses something you have never seen before anywhere but it's much bigger with higher population and some streets there are similar to heliopolis

When I tell my Egyptian friends why I love Downtown Cairo so much, I tell them that I truly like all the traffic, the noise, the people talking to me and of course the physical history. I am a Canadian and as you know Canada is a very new and quiet country. So most of my life has been on quiet streets (which are peaceful of course), but I actually like the energy and chaos! So when I travel to Egypt, I don't want to be in New Cairo with its malls, marble streets and glass towers -- to me that is very dull. In fact as you know many Egyptian people emigrated to Canada in the last year's so some of my friends and relatives who live in Canada say that streets are empty most of the time especially in Ottawa and the second problem is suburbanization in Canada so sadly many Canadian cities aren't walkable these days I watched many walking tours from Canadian cities and many cities are just like new Cairo boring and unwalkable so your choice of downtown Cairo was perfect to me but still there are many beautiful districts just like the downtown like El zeitoun and shubra and they are already considered parts of the downtown Cairo and crowded most of the times so they're perfect and safe for your walking tours especially shubra misr which is already an important part of the downtown.

I saw that poor donkey witt his face covered thats considered animals abuse. Also with covid and other viruses diseases spread faster when ppl. So close to each like in the video.
@@capitalmatrix8331 covering the face in this case is good for the donkey it keeps him calm and sleep while waiting however animal abuse specially with donkeys exists and that is due to ignorance despite Muslims know there is a punishment in the hereafter for such abuse but still some of them ignore that they need stronger government penalties for animal abuse.

I really loved your high quality walking tours from cairo and I hope your next walking tours focus on undiscovered similar areas like shubra or nasr city these districts here you can find a mix between poor , middle class areas you can find an unique mixture between Coptic Christianity and islam in shubra (it's full of churches and life just like ramses) and in nasr city you can find a mix you have never seen before between poor,luxury and middle class shops and residential areas so I hope you can visit these districts one day especially shubra because I lived there for years it's my hometown
Wonderful video and wonderful people. The most shocking thing to me was that tragic donkey at 37:51. He is a barely standing skeleton, with incredible muscle atrophy. Someone and their donkey needs urgent help - food, nutrition, water, rest, possibly medication, and time to heal.
Egypt is a great place, truly one of the gems of the world -- also a place where they respect women. I have noticed on your account you record a lot of women and use them in your channel art. You should be a more honourable and respectful person my friend. Please consider changing your behaviour.
By the way when are you traveling to Japan? I hope you make more walking tours from Cairo before heading to Japan because I see most of these videos are made in Ramadan and as I told you before there are many districts in downtown Cairo are still undiscovered and full of life and enjoyment and walkable for tourists like shubra or El zeitoun (they are crowded even more than Ramses square)
I am actually already in Japan. Which is why I wont be able to make it to these other neighbourhoods until my next visit. I plan to come back in the fall though.
