Makes sense with the setting of the game RDR1 had a poncho but was only unlocked once you bought a home in Mexico with RDR2 i don't think there's really any logical place to find one as Arthur maybe St Denis could have Mexican trader who sells imported goods from Mexico or as John we could find one in New Austin. RDO has some great clothing jsut wish Rockstar would add these to the story mode hell maybe they are just waiting to launch a Mexico update this June for E3.

You might have to have high honor to get the vest if that’s what you talking about I looked it up forever and never could find we’re they were the vest is Ik tumble weed or armadillo general stores and on outfit

I recommend using the classic tail coat for the duster coat outfit, as it resembles the RDR1 duster coat more than the actual duster coat. Specifically, the brown variant.

Asdas asdfas Hello sir. If you play 1.00 red dead, john has better hair, face model, and body model. If you play 1.00 you cannot play this save, but if you update back to current patch you can. Quick tutorial 1: Turn off wifi. 2: Delete red dead 2. 3: wait for download. 4: do NOT turn on wifi unless you wanna risk updating by accident. 5: do NOT overwrite your 1.26 save file, make a new save. 6: look at in-game map. If its laggy-ish, you did it! You prob wont see this, or care, but I thought id share it
Did you use mods or did you implore the use of some glitch? I noticed the secondary holster missing from some outifts to add to the accuracy. Explanation???
Played on patch 1.02 until epilogue (downloaded from orbispatches.com) Used old patch glitch to remove off hand holster for john. Then updated to 1.20. My saved outfits without offhand holster was still there.

Fun fact: if you complete uncle's request you can get a classic frock coat which is similar to the rdr1 duster coat

9:23 this is what i used for a while then i figured out how to use fucking mods
I would use the Black striped jeans for the cowboy outfit because in rdr1 the pants don't have seems.
It does have a patch but it blends with the trail dust
Personally I go with the white everyday shirt because his shirt doesn't have pinstripes but still very cool
And if you use the expert hunter outfit in this game, it doesnt instantly skip the cutscenes! What a novel concept.

Parted right length 5 is actually closer to John's hair in RDR, while length 6 is more like his hair through the rest of the game (on his NPC model)

You don’t have a second holster on John, how did you get it off
Using some glitch with the hammer belt John wears during the house building scene. Look up “rdr2 john marston hammer belt glitch” and you’ll find it
Trappers cloak and the legendary panther cloak are the closest things to a poncho
