I just bought a Petey for the first time the other day and I really love the way it applies my foundation. I love the way the flat end feels around my eyes and nose. I've never tried the beauty blender before and I'm glad you made this video because I'll probably just stick with the real techniques sponge from now on. Also, I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I've tried out several of your short hair tutorials and beauty techniques! Loved them all! You're very cute and I like your spunky personality! 😝

Loved it !! You should try the chi chi beauty sponge they have 3-4 different shaped sponges really affordable I think around 4-5 USD each works amazing my favourite sponges
+Milabu they're Australian and only available in Australia. there are 4 shapes in different colours and theyre 6 dollars each or 15 for 4 which is reallllly cheap in Australia (real technique retails for something like 18 dollars here.) I like chichi sponges and bought real techniques recently but have not yet tried! im so excited to try it because I have heard so many good things about it!
when i read the package for the real technique sponge it said that the flat side was only to be used around the eyes and you are using it for other tests and maybe thats why the coverage isnt as good i think the rounded sides of the sponge are to be used to beat the face lol

I prefer the RT one too, not only because it is cheaper. I prefer the foam of which it is made of , it's more spongy and fluffier, well finer pored, softer and denser at the same time, sounds weird😂
I love the way you do your reviews, thank you for being so thorough! I would like to perhaps see a rematch with the curved edge of "peetie" being used. I would bet they are even more similar. I think the flat edge would be better for applying contouring and packing on around the eyes. But again, thanks so much. I haven't been able to bring myself to buy the Beauty Blender sponge, but I use the Real Technique one every time I wear foundation. I would have to be really careful with the Beauty Blender one... I have cats, and I had my first RT sponge drying after cleaning and one jumped up on the bathroom counter and decided it was a toy. The claw and teeth marks weren't good lol. Because it was only $6 I didn't have a meltdown and just went to Walgreens and picked up another one.
I have both sponges but I use my Real techniques one a lot more. I have repurchased it 3 times bc the top gets messed up fast. So in the long run, I feel like i am not really saving $$. I honestly love them both though.

I buy the Real Techniques when Ulta has the buy one get one 50% off and I buy the two pack...I also have an ongoing supply of Beauty Blenders, I change out every 3 months and I'm not sure which I like best I think the "Peatie" last for only the 3 months then it starts to fall apart, where as the Beauty Blender could last a lot longer, I don't know because it goes in to the recycle bin at 3 months!

I actually love bobby more than petey, but yes...bobby is very expensive 😢 so I usually use petey to prolong bobby's live 😂 (using petey for regular day out & bobby for days when I need more precise make up)
