Looks like the bulbs were installed upside down. The low beam led seemed higher than the halogen, and then when you turned on the high beams, the LED shined lower. I think there's a set screw on most LED bulbs to adjust the bulb within the housing to the proper orientation.
Thanks I’ll have to go back and check. I thought it was keyed so it can only be installed in one orientation
Not sure if you tried already, but maybe your problem can be solved by coding the light control module to accept the LEDs. Not sure if it's possible in R56, but it is on most modern BMWs
Thanks. Probably true with newer cars but newer cars typically have LEDs now. I kind of agree with the article i mentioned. Cars with LEDs are optimized for LED bulbs but cars with halogens are probably optimized for halogen bulbs.

is your Mini paint color Horizon blue? mine is, looks the same. roof is white, no stripes
Yes, the black roof gets very hot. I like the blue a lot. The touch up paint from my other video was a really match for horizon blue.
I’ve just learned to live with the stupid error code the most annoying part is the sound when the error code pops up
