@@christinemott8799 it's referenced in the video 18 seconds in, Tremendous Booty DNA. In short, I have a butt so round, I can't stand "flat against the wall" if my heels touch it, my pelvis is moved forward. Think of this as anti Hank Hill.
Hi! A regular Yoga practitioner here! I really love all of these stretching routines and I will be incorporating these in my daily life with everything I do as well. Just wanted to add on to the Upward and Downward facing dogs; most of the yoga teachers generally recommend not bending your neck and trying to look towards the sky during upward dog so as to not invite any unwanted neck injuries. Instead, we can look straight ahead or down to the ground in front of us while pulling our shoulders back and down away from the ears. Be careful though because it is really easy to overdo it. Same in the case of Downward Facing dog, we might not realise it, but most of us who aren't used to it might round their upper bodies while doing it which can again risk injuries in the shoulders, hamstrings and the wrists, and if you get disbalanced then maybe more places. Trying to reach the heels towards the ground is a great hamstring stretch, so do work towards that, but don't round your chest in for it. Instead, as a beginner you can bend your knees and focus more on moving your chest in the direction of your thighs, and having a firm grip on the ground with your hands, this will really stretch the shoulders. Once that is achieved, you can slowly try to work your heels down towards the ground, but once you notice you're rounding your back, just stop it there. You'll get there in time. And also, as these are morning routine stretch, it is not necessary to go too hard to fast, so be easy on yourself and feel the sensations in your body while doing so. Love your videos and your work Hampton! Thanks for creating this beautiful discussion forum of health and life and everything in between! 10/10 will surely try the napping position XD
