Glad you made this video, was really looking forward to hearing about getting into the field. My onky issue is the audio on this video wasn't the clearest, would be great if you could include a graphic of the acronyms you are using especially for the certifications and orgs.

Hello! I am sorry the audio was not the best. I completely agree that some graphics and on-screen definitions would be very helpful. We will see what we can do with that. Thanks for the feedback!

The BICSI INST1 course? would you recommend this course to someone with absolutely zero experience in the field? is this necessary to get into an entry level role?

Hello! Yes, the BICSI INST1 course is the perfect place to start and is recommended for beginner installers as well as personnel that need to have some knowledge of what installers are doing but won't necessarily install on a regular basis (managers, etc.)

What is a cat 6e that electric stores are selling? Should we buy one for home networking? Thinking to change the ethernet cable in the walls

Hello! "Cat6E" is a marketing gimmick. It is still Cat6. The reason some companies label it "Cat6E" is due to testing the cable to a higher MHz rating, but there is no formal Category 6E found in the ANSI/TIA standard to test the cable to and at the end of the day it still operates as Cat6. The recognized Categories are Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and Cat8 in the USA. It should be noted that trueCABLE also tests our Cat6 to higher MHz ratings too, but we don't call it "Cat6E" because that would be just wrong and misleading. To answer your question directly: If you wish to upgrade the cabling in your walls then Cat6 is a good choice and easier to work with, but Cat6A is more future proof. We recommend unshielded (U/UTP) as most residential installations. Shielded cabling not only costs more, but is also more difficult to work with and won't get you any more speed.
